It's so weird that the concept of Magneto's helmet being telepath-proof is so recent. It basically canonized after the first X-Men movie. Before withstood those kinds of attacks through willpower (yes, I know he briefly modified his helmet in the 80s to resist mind-reading, but that concept never really caught on).
before he did it because he had telepathy too. When Galactus attacked, Charles asked Magnus to combine their telepathic powers together. There was an issue where he telepathically bodyjacked Jean Grey.I guess after the movie they decided it's a better explanation to take away his 1 not-at-all-magnetic power.

>>155151892>”it's magnetism, i ain't gotta explain shit."To be fair, he’s kind of always been like this. He may as well be a wizard
>>155151819>>155151892didn't he make and travel through wormholes at one point>>155151796tinfoil hat
>>155151796I recently found out that him being in Auschwitz was also hinted at in comics but Canonized by the first movie. It's weird how much sway that movie had in general conception of the x men. Or maybe not, it was incredibly popular I guess.
