Honestly i think this whole "become" thing for classpecting doesn't mean much. All classpects "become" their classpect. Or at least represent it. Heir's are the closest to completely embodying it, but thats because of their extreme passivity. And i am not very convinced that quite literally becoming wind to evade attacks is an Heir of breath exclusive ability. Likewise i don't think being a page or an heir would give one the ability to do the equivalent of that for every aspect. LORD ENGLISH, the most powerful guy ever, *still* needs a time machine to go anywhere. If he can't just magically time travel on his own, im not sure anyone can. Her disconnectedness from the rest of the group and pseudo leader status is in relation to how she mirrors Damara, who similarly went off the handle. And also, she wasn't the leader. She did all the work, but that doesn't make her the leader. Not even giving out orders makes her the leader. Leadership is the metric by which everyone rallies behind and trusts to pick the general direction. Which of course Karkat fills that role. Aradia was the muscle of the team, given her numbers advantage, so she was delegated the most work (or more accurately she delegated herself the work since she knows whats gonna happen). You can also look to Jane, who is entirely subservient to everyone, to her detriment, even though realistically she is basically the strongest member of the team, kind of same story with Aradia.. This is also why John is the leader and not Dave, or Rose, or Jade, who all do way more than John does.
