My elevator pitch for a Season 2, or just a special:The setup is that it's a prequel about the adventures of Jax, Ribbit and Kaufmo back when they were friends, and all the wacky adventures they got up to and the tragic circumstances that eventually led to their downfall. Occasionally we cut to Jax's present POV as an abstraction, and we get to see the stark contrast between his fun old life and his sad, solitary current life. He starts to leave his tent walking through a vent system and spies on the other characters, which keeps us up to date on the circus in the present.As the story goes on, things start to seem a little strange. Little glitches and continuity errors spring up, characters act strangely, and things just generally seem off. There are also more adventures than you'd expect, and it seems like they're together way longer than they were supposed to be. Kaufmo starts to grow paranoid, Ribbit seems extremely nervous, and Jax grows more curious and unsettled as things go on. We start to suspect it might all be Jax's dream when he goes to sleep, but things seem a little too consistent for that.The big reveal is... revealed in the next post.

Maybe Queenie is the one who really maintains the sub-simulation?>Maybe the twist villain could actually be Bubble or one of the other abstractions, like one of them could be a greedy executive who wants to destroy the entire circus so he can reset it and make himself god?
