Either having the world at your beck and call, or treating the world as your oyster. However the irony here is that they're are destructive, which means that they both have too much, and the only way to make things interesting again is to be destructive, their freedom causes their boredom, as they are aimless. I'll be honest, I've never thought about the classes in a true mythological sense, and I still don't really see the point, but this was fun to explore. Both Pages and Heirs are both reactive classes. And more importantly have different mechanical functions that don't seem entirely aligned within the narrative of game structures. Heirs are basically AOE banners that passively give out whatever their aspect is. The fact of their abundance is the point. Their character arc is about not letting it swallow them hole, not to get lost in the sauce. Pages do not do anything in that regard that aligned with that structure. In fact their lacking is the point of their class. This however does make sense in terms of a pages struggle with not being enough, where as heirs struggle with being too much. This seems incongeuous with class pairings dealing with the same problems but with different levels of activity and consistency, something you yourself point out, not opposing character struggles. Likewise while it is true Knights and Maids deal with resentment, it's opposing resentment. Knights resent their duty and aspect. Maids resent the people they are serving and threaten to to become a mindless tool of said aspect. Knights and Pages dealing with their aspect not treating them kindly, while heirs and maids dealing with the aspect threatening to subsume them entirely. Seems much more close to a pair.

Heirs, Seers, Maids, Rogues, Sylphs and Bards are all more fluid when it comes to their aspect, more positive (yes, even Bards), while Pages, Mages, Knights, Thieves, Witches and Princes are more negative, they tend to really struggle with their aspect, it's a much more difficult task for them to interact with their aspect. Princes who hate, Pages who learn, Mages who suffer, Knights who wrangle, Thieves who constantly challenge their aspect, and Witches who almost don't understand their aspect and have to break it down and rebuild it into something new. Look at the other side, Seers and Sylphs love their aspect, engage with it, Heirs are practically their aspects, Rogues share it with everyone happily, Maids continue it and Bards simply don't give a shit and aren't particularly bothered. This is what makes sense to me. An aspect envelops an Heir, a Page runs into a solid wall. Seers chase their aspect, while Mages try to avoid it. Sylphs conventionally heal their aspect, Witches unconventionally break it. Rogues play with their aspect, while Thieves challenge it. Maids will let their aspect go ahead, while Knights pull it by a leash.

Also, your dichotomy for the character journey of an Heir and Maid makes more sense if you replace the Maid with a Page. Pages are infinitely more oppressed due to their class, and that's literally their whole thing. Maids aren't defined by their "oppression", they're defined by the fact that they take care of their aspect, much like how a Knight takes care of theirs, but they do it in different ways. This applies to every class and their interaction with their aspect.
