>>155185861Thanks for the dumps, OP. I feel that Abs WW was better than Catwoman today, but that's not a beey high nar to clear. Absolute Catwoman is middling in a way that feels like a regular DC book, than an Absolute book. I'd say there's too nuch time spent on their cutesy backstory intermingled with exposition on "The Yarn" and story. If it weren't for the fact that it leads to the next story, I'd say this was skippable.Absolute WW was nice though. I do like Diana's new power-ups, the introduction of the Gods as antagonists for this arc, and a pretty wild take on Zeus. What I do have a problem with is how it's handling Veronica Cale as a villain, and I think this is a problem with the Absolute Justice League as a whole. The writers had them talk big game and act coldly aloof until they actually meet their archs. Maybe it makes sense for Cale to be panicked and erratic with WW barging in and discovering her daughter, but it's a far cry from the Cale we've been shown before in this comic and Absolute Evil. This is only Part 1 so I hope they manage to fix that, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
