If it was actually meant to move the story or plot along, then something needed to have changed from when Pomni entered Jax's mind to when Zooble pulls her out.Quite frankly, the only thing that would make Jax's mind sequence important to the story and plot would be if it led to Jax being saved from abstraction. Think about it:>Pomni could've saved Jax, thus making her scene ignoring Jax when he approached her tolerable>Jax, now unabstracted, has the opportunity to approach his issues and resolve them in the future, giving the show a chance at a season 2>Ragatha could air her grievances with Jax, letting the two finally open up to each other about Ribbit>Gangle could get an apology from Jax about how he's treated her all this time.
