Stolas even differs to her as if he's used to her taking care of Octavia. But this one instance of refusal paints her as neglectful.Fans use her photo as evidence that she was always a brat. But a lot of fans don't notice that taking a picture of this implies intentionally immortalizing a moment. Meaning this moment wasn't a mistake and that this behavior is being championed. I think Stella has been trained to be deceitful. There's a lot NOT shown here and I think that's intentional. Because what we don't know is her motivations.To which I have to guess is to prop up Octavia as something she could never be. A female Goetia that isn't just a trophy wife. Even if Stella loses everything. She clearly does not care. But this also isn't some sappy backstory to justify her actions. She is STILL a spiteful bitch but as much a victim of a fucked up society that champions being cruel as the male leads. Unlike Blitzo she has reasons to be this duplicitous yet she is the one that is villainous.
