I will say if Eve is Lute then they're going for less sympathetic and nuanced Eve than I thought they might. Lute is a hardliner violent psycho who revolves around Adam and the show is tripling down on it. It'll be hard for most people who aren't Lute simps to majorly sympathize with her, especially with the remorseless extermination elements and how she tormented fellow exorcists and Vaggi. The writers would have serious legwork to do and I don't see them pulling it off.
