I was going to make a thread with two public domain characters, but I got stuck trying to find a good opponent for Mysta of the Moon and Robot.
Robot is apparently capable of collapsing time with seven league steps... Whatever that means.

Deku should fight Thor because Thor being able to fight against Spiderman without winning instantly makes him street level.
Or thor-level beings vs spiderman-level beings.or whatever.

I think it gets into the realm of action figure smashing spectacle that would be good for short form content.

I think that because they end up being fairly different each episode that they are too arbitrary to really add that much that couldn't be achieved in a different kind of approach.

To a certain extent, I think we do need to apply a sort of MST3K type of mantra when it comes to looking at things like Death Battle and GameTheory.
But at the same time, I think that media like Death Battle could do itself a lot of favors if they didn't present themselves as the be all end all on the topic.
