New episode tonight at 11:30 ETHollow>When America faces a national energy crisis, Curtis and his team venture to find a solution.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb_oc75xOwI
I'm here as always
It's starting
>starting off with FortniteNice.
I kind of hate how much they're trying to tell you how badass Janice is.
Remember the Microverse episode?
>>155249411Full on Inside Job now
>We've evolved by eliminating all nuance.Wow, just like 4chan!
>>155250422Real clever there.
>AI porn taxAnd they were doing so well.
>>155249411>No simultaneous online release >Have to watch pirate tv rip of Rick and Morty presents inside job instead of hbomax Way to promote your streaming service/spinoff
>>155249411Ok episode, dead thread tho. Did Adult Swim pull the funding for the shills?
Kind of a rehash of the Rick and Morty episode with the car battery.
>>155251856people dont discuss cartoons here if all there is to say is it was good, shows only get talked about here if there's shipping or lore.
>>155251965There were no Chuds in this episode. Missed opportunity.
what's the verdict on the show so far? I havent seen this yet but the first half of the season is fine. I think Im liking it more now as opposed to near the start. It helps that the supporting cast is finally being fleshed out.
>>155251965>Episode makes the girl do watersports several times >Not even a r34 tag for her It's dead Jim
No Dr.Wong yet.
>>155252162Good, let's keep it that way.>>155251856Yeah, the shills have largely died down. Nowhere near as many Mating Season/Break Bear threads as there used to be.
>>155252333>Break*Breaking
>>155252162Would be funny and accurate if they showed her being clingy, spiteful, and manipulative when she isn't doing her job.
why is there a thread about this garbage spinoff show when theres no thread about the adultswim 25 anniversary special (that was actually good)
>>155252691There WAS a thread, it just got archived.>>155246527
>>155252691Moron.
... Doesn't the premise of the stupid fucking lightsaber episode hinge on earth not being hollow? Which is... You know, an episode featuring the President?
>>155252810Who the fuck cares.
Where is the Mega?
way past beating a dead horse, we're now at the stage where people hooked up a sucktion device to the horse's asshole to obtain fertilizer for the grass that will sustain a miniature near-clone of the horse.
>>155252810Uhh, different universe probably.
>>155250407Pretty much.
>Banks is the resident fetishbait character I'm down with this
>>155252810It felt on a part of the earth that hadn't holes bellow.
>>155255500i like the leprechaun
>>155252810A lot of Rick and Morty kind of breaks with this show, but that's fine.
>>155255500I could never love a woman who doesn't know what FernGully is.
>Banks was forced to drink piss over and over again.... Is Justin working on this?
>>155252810That was like 5 universes ago.
Not entirely sure why nobody seems to care about this, aside from being kinda dumb and a spin-off to a show that lost steam years ago. But not even pirate sites seem to care about uploading it. WCO takes hours or even days to upload episodes, most regular pirate streaming sites use that fucking Trump cartoon from like ten years ago as placeholders before uploading it way too late and this last one, which I also had to try several servers for, weirdly enough defaulted multiple times to the French dub before I got to English. How sad is that?
>>155256963>But not even pirate sites seem to care about uploading it.I keep systematically find torrent of it on piratebay right after it comes out.
>>155256963Maybe your 1337 h4xx0r sk1llz just suck, because it was on srstop within a few hours
>>155256963I noticed the same thing lolI watched through one ep of My Cartoon President and it was p good. Makes Trump very likeable if anything but i feel like you have to be fully locked in on minute details of american politics to get all the jokes
>>155256963>WCO takes hours or even days to upload episodesthat's just because WCO often just stole from Kisscartoon and it's down so they cant do that anymore. It's pretty much that. The other sites are usually next day sites for cartoons like this since they arent as focused on cartoons like Kiss or WCO.>>155257046People dismiss it because le Trump jokes but it's like the one actually funny Trump show. And its because it makes really specific jokes instead of broad ones.
>>155257737WCO keep accusing me of having addblockers when I don't and even using incognito mode doesn't work. Anyone has a suggestion.
>>155257900Turn your adblock filtering to full to kill their anti adblock >2016+10 >Not running multiple concurrent adblocks This show isn't worth getting porn ransomware injected into your computer.
>>155257900I've just mostly stopped using it except as a last resort. Hopefully the site will turn itself around or a new safe Kisscartoon will pop up
>>155252162I wouldn't expect any more Rick & Morty cameos. Not even Curtis's current White House team has employees carried over from the series
President Curtis might not be the most entertaining thing, but I do find myself enjoying it more with each new episode
>>155258941it's the lost art of "perfectly fine cartoon"
>episode 6: writers open obvious fetish >No graven images of it What made Reagan so lewdable that whatsherface lacks?
>>155261709Give her some curves and a bigger rack.
>>155263568But ourgirl mk1 only has those in the appreciable amount of fanart. Roe isn't catching a break. Also realized [AS] fucked their search engine optimization twice over, besides president Curtis itself being way down the list >Roe>ROE>Return on Investment>Roe Banks>Return on investment Banks That was a near willfully bad naming choice I'd almost believe it's all intentional
>>155261709Reagan is a mess, she's tired and dirty and has bags under her eyes. Banks is just too normal to hit the same way. If anything the mess is O'Doyle
>>155249411Is there a mega for all episodes I wanna binge watch this shit while drawing
>>155263839Soulseek's your answer.
>>155257737Never seen it. Is it like actual acceptance of being a failed state banana republic make it funny?
>>155263745I still don't get whatever pun(?) they were trying to make with that name anyway Failed joke AND failed searchability online. 'Reagan Ridley' rolls off the tongue way easier and is far more memorable
>>155264908>ReaganPlus her first name is the last name of an infamous president, so that makes it extra memorable.
>>155258002But I don't have any addblock to begin with. All I have on is my in-browser 3rd party cookies and add-trackers blocked, as I don't want my browsing habits to be known.I know adds is sometimes the only source of revenue for a website, so I do'nt block them because I know a website don't run on wishful thinking and spiritual support.
>>155265180Don't feel too bad, there are still thousands of sites that host the same amount of obscure content. WCO is arguably worse because RC's [as] special requires a "premium" account in order to view it.
the only thing that is making this show tolerable for me is pretending the chief of staff lady is actually mirabel from encanto who somehow wound up in this mediocre show with a different name through some kind of scifi fuckery
>>155265180The SEA people behind WCO make money off catching retards with browser redirect scripts to porn and malware. Either abp or ublock blocks their blocker so sounds like you need adblock to block their misfiring adblock adblocker that's trying to get you to click yes to a trojan download. >>155263795Episode 5 having her sidearc being a day in the life of HR catladies I don't think has done her any favors. They seem to quickly have abandoned the AI torturing her for being bad thing, guess that was a onetime fetish like pee drinking. It's weird and "safe" while everything else but her and lepricaun birdperson is just more Rick and Morty.
I like this show for how anticlimactic it is and how rational and agreeable the characters are. It's also a rather wholesome show (the puppies get their energy farmed in a relatively ethical)I would have preferred if Banks and Curtis didn't cast shade when they got the puppies. A good president would use it as leverage to make deals with the groups. Also it's unrealistic for a politician to get glazed so much when they are bound to fail to meet competing goalsI don't see how the appearance of the Archeans means that Banks and Curtis were wrong in seeking the energy source. It was just an unfortunate temporary issue.
>>155266555>I like this show for how anticlimactic it is and how rational and agreeable the characters are.Same.
>>155251965that is NOT why nobody is talking about it. i dropped it after the last episode
>>155267008>DEIStupid thing to complain about.
>>155267008>Let me guess, the nigger president loves trannies and faggots? As in, not hating them? It's not meant to be fresh nor innovative, it's meant to be normal.
>>155267008Why not talk about cartoons you actually like in a thread of your own instead of spewing culture war nonsense like a retard that are not only inaccurate to the show's events, but are played for a joke when they do appear? It's a Rick and Morty spinoff you brainrotted dipshit, not some Netflix-original hugbox cartoon
>>155266555>>155266609>I like this show for how anticlimactic it is and how rational and agreeable the characters areYou wanted this to sound like a good thing, but you really just showed what is wrong with most people. "Rational and agreeable" is never that fucking simple you literal smoothbrained idiots, but than again, you like this show so there thats not even an insult, just trivia.
>>155268658>"Rational and agreeable" is never that fucking simple you literal smoothbrained idiotsWe all know it's fiction, anon. you are not blowing our mid. "in the context of the setting" is obviously implied.
>>155268683>Muh fiction>Hand waving away, lazy writing were everything gets solved right away with little effort and people treating everything as interchangeable is fineHard pass. "in the context of the setting" has just became an exscue for medicore writing than it's original point, and people can see it. Hence why barely anyone is here.
>>155268658Thank you for maintaining this thread alive.
>>155268784>>Hand waving away, lazy writing were everything gets solved right away with little effort and people treating everything as interchangeable is fineThet sound like a pre-made complain you were looking for a show to apply to.Doesn't even seem to properly fit.
>>155265305Whatever helps I guess lol
>nonthreatening, riskless Chicago party aunt tier new characters >Unapologetically "America fuck year" episode plots It's a weird dichotomy of safe edgy and team America force. The only standout personality is Curtis and his most dynamic parts are when he's saying the equivalent of "fuck you those Indians deserved it!" That might as well be a direct quote which is why the shows kinda good. Rho and elfguy I just don't think are going to find a stride, they're just kind of bad concepts which they're already ditching in their writing. The irony is a werewolf where the joke is always getting horrifically injured as a human could have been main character tier but that's the thing they gave to a recurring side character.
>>155266609The president is supposed to be the best of the best out of 330 million people living in the most powerful country in the world.
>>155249411is this anything like inside job
>>155249411I watched the current episodes, it's whatever, more compact and quiet tone than richard + mortimer but nothing really feels stand-out besides how cute the cyber girl is
>>155249411This show is great. Already liking it more than R&M.But maybe I'm just filling a void... >>155250407
>>155268658Although I like that element, I agree that it's not a selling point. I wouldn't recommend this show to others.I would prefer a more intellectual and realistic exploration of these scenarios but you can't ask for much from mainstream media
>>155271746It's sad really. The show just kind of exists in a vacuum. I don't find myself actively looking forward to the next episode each week. I give it two seasons.
>>155250407inside job had more character dramaI like that this is more focused on plot
>Look Janice, I stop bullets and a penis is a bullet. So I stopped this.I like O'Doyle. He's kinda like Brock Samson if he was voiced by the Dean from Community.
>>155272777>the Dean from Community so THAT'S where I heard his voice before...
>>155272388This is the first piece of President Curtis fanart I've ever seen
>>155251996god damn poneta was fucking hot
>>155274503It took me a while, because when Jim Rash turns off the flamboyance, he becomes like a completely different guy.
>>155249411Wait, this isn't a meme?This show is real?
>>155272388i like this irish mutt
>>155271488>>Unapologetically "America fuck year" episode plotsThat's not really what I am taking from it.
>>155271521I personally don't think it is, but many are still making that comparison.
>>155274635One of RaM's worst episodes, but damn if her design and the hilarious cold open don't at least make it bearable https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLCPW6MnTHo
>>155274648Yeah, dude's got more range than I thought. I hope they don't make O'Doyle gay just because his VA is gay. He didn't answer the CIA guy in the first episode.
how did this get greenlit for a second season? is anyone actually watching this shit
bump
>>155275188TV executives' panties always get wet as soon as they read Harmon's name is attached to a project
>>155275188if this is going to be a yearly show it needs to get greenlit early. The real question is why have they not already renewed MAWS
>>155249411truly marktable these threads stay up this long
>>155275188Its staff aren't raping women and putting them in the hospital like Roiland so theyre saving money on legal bills.
>>155265344I think the show doesnt feel like Rick and Morty at all, they are dysfunctional but not in a toxic way, despite being the president they arent sycophantic to him like Summer or Beth would be, everyone is equally competent, there's more fantasy than sci fi. If anything, knowing Rick and Morty are off somewhere doing shit just feels incongruent at this point.>>155266555>I like this show for how anticlimactic it is and how rational and agreeable the characters are.I agree>I don't see how the appearance of the Archeans means that Banks and Curtis were wrong in seeking the energy sourceIt wasnt that they were permanently stopped from using the energy source it's that they saw the aliens as their potential future where they destroy their planet with excess rather than learn to cut back. They just didnt want to become the Archeans
>>155255500I bet she has the CUTEST toots!
>>155276394Honestly think Harmon's bread and butter is stuff like Community, R&M was at its best when he and Roiland worked on it with a majority male writing room.
Be honest: does a lack of waifus hurt the show?
>>155277402whoever thought this was a good character design needs to be shot
>>155250333yeah they probably could have shown her being badass but Janice's dynamic with O'Doyle was sweet.
>>155276911Last season R&M turned into a shonen anime for fujos who like incest. Putting those characters next to the PC characters make you realize how batshit insane the R&M characters are and how "normal" the PC characters are in comparison, it's kinda refreshing.
>>155276911>They didn't want to become the ArcheansI see. It's possible to extract value from your planet without destroying it. The puppy generators seemed pretty sustainable. If the puppies weren't free range and were being factory farmed then perhaps the comparision would land better. Also the replacement power station probably caused more environmental damage than the puppy plant.
>>155274836>But it's supposed to be making fun of you! Is it tho? The underpinning is "American chauvinism" but the resultant episode from that are things like kicking the shit out of the French with lines like "They Nixoned Nixon" saying the CIA faked Watergate. It's satire and self depreciatory but the plots are resolved by locking in and retardmaxxing the problem away. And that's how these "political"/subversive cartoons used to be when they were good. The viewer is in the trenches with Curtis where even inside job does the outgroup shitting on the viewers real world thing.
>>155275188I am.
>>155277542It looks good to me.
>>155278440>>But it's supposed to be making fun of you!that's not what I said either.
>>155278233They just had to cut back because the puppies are gone and now they had no other solutions.I think the point is actually that when their back are on the wall, they can actually be reasonable about it.Also, People using LLM to generate porn IS effectively a waste of energy.
>>155279405i'm gonna generate ai porn of banks and nobody is gonna stop me
>>155277516Depends on the showGood witting can make you forget about a show's other faults
>>155280867>porn of banksNobody is believing you.
>>155249411They reused Rick's UFO power source plot. This show is so fucking dead.
>>155278233I think that's true, but that's taking the story literally, the story HAD to end with them learning to cut back because its about Curtis learning to make unpopular decisions that help the country
>>155249411Was OK. Still not really feeling it.
>>155261709>>155263795Banks feels like your boring co-worker.Reagan was your hot co-worker.
>>155281596Reagan had PERSONALITY. I also really enjoyed her dynamic with the ever-giddy Brett
>>155277516It certainly doesn't help that Banks has such a lame main outfit and that the designers clearly made an active effort to give her a fridge body. I need to see some concept art so I can get a better idea of what other ideas they tried before landing on the blandness we have now
