Michael K. Williams had his own subplot in The Incredible Hulk as a Harlem local who realizes the Hulk is trying to help them and briefly stands against the Abomination, which Edward Norton wrote specifically for him because he was a fan of The Wire. It was cut down to one frame in the final movie.

Olivia Munn appeared in Iron Man 2 as Rebecca, a socialite Tony Stark hooks up with during his birthday party. Pepper Potts catches them and storms out. Test-audiences didn’t like Stark treating Pepper that way, so all of Munn’s scenes were cut and she was given a consolation cameo as a television reporter.

Clive Standen played Thor’s cousin Tyr, the captain of the Asgardian Royal Guard, in Thor: The Dark World. He had a substantial role as a warmongering asshole who sides with Odin and butts heads with Thor, and the original post-credits scene even had him delivering the Reality Stone to the Collector instead of Lady Sif, but most of his scenes were cut, reducing him to a background character.

Captain Marvel was originally going to be introduced as a member of the New Avengers at the end of Age of Ultron to set up her spinoff solo film, and they even shot her intro scene with a stand-in they could later replace once they cast the character, but the whole thing was ultimately scrapped.

Jordi Molla played corrupt Cuban General Castillo in a deleted opening prologue for Ant-Man, which would see younger Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne on a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D. to take him down at the height of the Cold War. It was cut to get to the main plot faster.

Lulu Wilson played Doctor Strange’s sister Donna in a deleted opening for Doctor Strange, which revealed that when they were children, Donna fell through the ice while they were playing in a frozen lake and died despite his efforts, inspiring him to become a doctor and seeding his obsession with control. The prologue was deemed too depressing and scrapped along with all of Wilson’s scenes.

Becky Lynch would appear in a bleak alternative ending for Eternals where the Celestials recapture Sersi and Kingo, erase their memories, put them alongside new duplicates of the others, including Harry Styles as Starfox and Lynch as an unnamed Eternals replacing Sprite, and send them to a faraway planet to protect another Celestial egg, still believing their fake memories of being cosmic warriors defending the universe from evil.

Daniel Craig and Jeff Bridges were set to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as members of the Illuminati. Bridges would have reprised his role as Obadiah Stane/Iron Monger, while Craig would have played Thor’s brother Balder the Brave. The Scarlet Witch would crush Stane inside his armor and bewitch Balder into impaling himself with his own sword while he’s delivering a speech. Both backed out due to Covid, and Marvel decided to switch them for John Krasinski as Reed Richards and Anson Mount as Black Bolt.

Jeff Goldblum, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Angus Sampson all shot scenes for Thor: Love and Thunder that ended up being cut on the whims of Taika Waititi. Dinklage returned as Eitri the Dwarf, who gets tortured by Gorr for information on Thor’s axe Stormbreaker then killed for serving the gods. Goldblum reprised the Grandmaster, now living in exile in the “Moon of Shame” and having lost his arms and legs and replaced them with robotic limbs. Headey, Randolph and Sampson were a trio of wacky, chaotic witches who guide Thor and his allies when they venture into Gorr’s domain, the Shadow Realm.

Rather than being killed off-screen early in the movie, his character Lord Krylar is imprisoned alongside the freedom fighters led by Jentorra, who calls him out for allying with Kang. When Ant-Man’s daughter Cassie Lang later breaks them out, Krylar decides to join their uprising, but this subplot didn’t test well and wound up being cut to tighten to pacing.

He's been dying to break out as a huge star for more than a decade. He was passed up for Star Lord and since then hasn't been in a single hero role capeshit or otherwise. He even got in really good shape to be more desirable for those types of roles. On top of this he has what in the surface looks like a parasocial relationship with Ryan Reynolds along with Its always sunny's reputation being in the toilet for like ten years now

In The Fantastic Four: First Steps, John Malkovich played the Red Ghost, a mad scientist who commands an army of genetically enhanced apes, in a deleted opening sequence where he detonates a series of bombs all over the city to distract the Fantastic Four while he attempts to steal their spaceship. He is foiled by Reed Richards, who figures out his plan and arrives at the launch platform just in time to defeat his super-apes and arrest him. Later in the movie, Reed would approach Red Ghost with a "work release" program, and he would then be seen alongside his apes helping build one of the teleportation towers Reed had designed to teleport Earth away from Galactus.

I don't know about South Park but it's always sunny has a hard cut off where they clearly shift from being an anything goes type of show to safe edgy. As soon as you see Mindy or even notice the Bar looking cleaner drop the show

desu dont care about his personal life or polatics I stopped watching sunny after that woke season when dennis left but I always found him to be a funny guy and he was my favorite character on the show. south park is the same honestly. I still find them funny but I don't think theres a single new episode you wouldn't show to the modern left. And its not like they're doing stunts like episode 200 anymore.

Garfield Spider-man was also set up to be introduced as a member, and the Oscorp tower from Amazing Spider-Man would've been featured during the fight for New York in the 1st Avengers. Both were scrapped (the Oscorp thing got so close to be featured in Avengers that Andrew Webb's team had even sent Marvel Studios reference material), supposedly by Avi Arad's influence.

Seeing actors like that denounce popular things they did because of modern social mores really leads me to question what the fuck HBO and Howard Stern are doing trying to get Howard popular again. Nigga is prime me too bait and has skated by for so long simply because no one under the age of 40 knows who he is
