We need more Eris fics. I remember a while ago I came up with a story involving her. Not her from the movie but just her in general. Basically a guy in Ancient Greece has a chaotic, messy, life and Eris takes note of it. She’s not the cause of it but since she’s the goddess of chaos she obviously has some interest in it

So she takes a human disguise and “accidentally” runs into him and they become friends and then more. She sees this guy roll with the punches and it endears her to him. (Maybe their close proximity makes things even crazier for him I dunno)

Anyways she reveals herself to him and is basically like “I really love how despite the chaos of your life you don’t despair or hate it. I love you but I get it if you don’t love me.” the idea being she’s used to the idea of being feared or hated because chaos is usually seen as evil or bad. I guess her characterization would be more mischievous

He’s like “Well it’s not ideal but I can’t just roll over and die. Besides it’s not like you’re evil or doing this on purpose to me. You’re you and I love that.” They kiss and it’s all happily ever after. It’s very corny I know haha
