>>155260565The 70s were 50 years ago so its time for them to come back in the rotation
And here we go, here's the Ep04 fansub:https://pastebin.com/uYQCRAQT
So it turns out the big building is the theater and the bank's actually next to it.Obsessed with the city layout as I am, I'm also happy to find out the alley you see in the opening credits is now found, it's between the bank and theater.
>>155260980Thanks anon
>>155261031My pleasure! See you next week!
>>155260980Oh also I changed the investigation catchphrase for the nice one suggested in the first thread
While I'm sure the true purpose is to save up on character models it was nice to see Lovett and Lady Ren on a date in ep4
Another thing I liked about episode 3 is how the culprit had a sympathetic motive and even after the detectives caught him, they left on a friendly note. Kind of feels more like an anime.
>>155260565Very 1960s, actually.
>never have problems with image captioner before>run it on max folder for training data>it decides to tag her as elsa from frozen in 90% of the photosIt's gunna be one of those nights, huh?
>>155263208Well, she does look like Elsa
>>155261258I wouldn't be so sure, this show seems pretty autismal about details. It's clearly encouraging the kids watching to notice things so they can solve the case as well, the fact that carried over from the previous episode is another detail for them to notice. I think the fact they've actually bothered to create a town layout and keep it consistent is part of that too. Most shows wouldn't bother doing something like that and would just have set pieces for each location. Reposting this Anon's map >>155261006 because it's fucking cool.
>>155264381>the fact they've actually bothered to create a town layoutHonestly I think this is the part that is impressing me the most about this show. Having come from Miraculous and it's endless rows of the same buildings, the variety of buildings in this show feels worlds apart.
I watched episode 3, might watch the other one today or tomorrow.
>>155264381Is this an official map or did someone just copy paste it together from episode reveals? If it's the latter it's pretty authistic but based.
>>155265761The latter, and it is
>>155265092It's interesting because I haven't seen Ladybug itself but in the Grevin Museum featurette they falk a lot about recreating the look and feel of various different Paris districts, so ai wonder why it's not too apparent in the final product
>>155265092It's become a bit more common in recent years, due to the evolution of the tools and workflows. Once you're using Unreal to render and work on the later stages of production, you can get away with larger and more hierarchical scenes, with real time feedback. There's a presentation for another show that talks about that, basically they built an entire city and surrounding region and then when they needed background sets they went "location scouting" in UE:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RImKAqYpItU
>>155267213Cont'd that being said, more than the city existing, I really appreciate that they show signs of moving through the correct streets when shown going from one place to the other outside the map (they still cheat, but more regarding repeating parts of the same path when a high speed chase needs to last longer)
>>155266287Ladybug works on landmarks. Like they'll get the landmarks that are supposed to look one way right, or at least decently right, but everything in between the landmarks may as well be infinitely repeating filler space.
>>155267695Ah yeah, so no broader sense of place.
Ep3 has some decent global shots of the city

Sneak appearances of Ms Green and the curator. Also the museum watchman on the left (and of course Lady Ren and Lovett).
>>155268976Wait actually, looks like the same security firm staffs the musem and bank truck.
Lady Ren is a prime MILF
>>1552656863 sexy hebes>>155262725Showing thighIn this economy?
>>155265686Breedable hebes, all of them...
>>155269013That guy is versatile.
>>155260329>Pink girl has spats onfuck off
>>155269775Nice catch! I can live with it.
>>155269775They all do, that's just the way of the world now. No upskirts for you.
>>155269775just means she gets extra sweaty down there with all the running
>>155270414Betcha Max doesn't
>>155268364Oh so now I get it, when looking at the map in ep1 the position of the sachool's parking lot made no sense to me, but like Maya's hom and the museum it's facing is not the same as the map. It's actually facing west and covering the entire right half of its plot. Like, the garden on the right is the school's interior court, and the basketball court below it is actually indoors.
>>155270414Seems like an animation error, if her spats are that long, it should have shown here. Unless she wears spats on some days but not on others.
>>155269775You don't understand, all girls are ashamed of their femininity.
>>155271438No an error, merely a fold in her skirt.
More summaries are up.ep5 is about Maya's uncle (a mystery novel writer and actual current owner of the detective agency despite being amusingly bad at it) releasing his new novel ony to find out all the pages have become blank, and they covertly help him while he bumbles into his own investigation of the case. Might be an episode giving insight into Maya's family, since supposedly her parents being "away" is a pretense for a bigger mystery.Ep6 is about a sleepover at school, during which the school is trapped under a mysterious dome. Based on the trailers this might be when the evil witch and also the headmaster being a wizard are revealed.Ep7 is about a computer virus taking control of the city. Supposedly maya-centric. Based on the trailers this might be when not-steve-jobs the tech villain is introduced.Ep8 is about a new organized gang in town, except it turns out none of the criminals know each other. Again based on the trailers, it's when the evil hypnotist lady is introduced.
You know, it's the little things that truly matter.
Give it up for the fat guy backstage, he clearly knows why a young man like the kid would want to be on stage.
The right perspective makes her legs look way longer than they are.
>>155272570stretchy toon legs
Prepare for trouble.
And make it double.
> We have you three to one.> I like those odds.
I watched the first ep and I'm a tad confused. Was ep 1 meant to be ep 1? Seems like there was a bunch of stuff already established, or this just one of those shows that do that right off the bat?2nd thing. What is the point of them doing their magic bubble thing to look like pidgeons? People can't know they're witches? But no one questions when they show up as detectives and are clearly in highschool?Eh whatever, I'll still watch it. I'll consume anything magical girl related. Still think blue is best girl, would kiss her feet
>>155273589It's meant to just drop you in. And they hide their magic from everyone by default, it seems like everyone does. Harry potter rule shit. And I'd assume that the witch detective outfit somehow changes people's perspective of them, otherwise they'd be recognized instantly. But no one questioned the talking dog, so...
>>155271168Maan, keep it up. Can't get enough of these edits.
>>155273589That's just how these shows do it usually. They just start you already in the action and maybe down the line you'll get the characters backstory. Similar thing was done with Miraculous. It wasn't until the last few episodes of the first season that we actually saw how the characters got their Miraculous and started being super.
>>155272570She is all legs and it's great.

>>155275054Baring it all.
>>155275054meh, lingerie version would be better.
>>155276221Ah, now that's good.
>>155260329>>155260412>>155262725These girls are very cute, im surprised this show isnt on the board more.Ah wait, its probably the language barrier.
>>155276493It only just came out about a week ago. But yes I think the language issue is holding it back a bit. Thankfully we've been getting subs pretty reliably which is incredibly helpful.
>>155276493We just had a bump limit thread that lasted a whole week between the first and second episode releases. For a new cartoon in 2026, that's good traction. Confirming my belief weekly episode releases are much better at fostering discussion than full series dumps.
>>155273589That they're detectives is a secret from the school. That witches exist is a secret in general, and unlike Harry Potter it seems witches don't necessarily know each other (they can't tell at first glance who's one or not).
>>155276350Latex suit when it is serious business.
>>155276493Only starts airing in english later this year, and even in french we got it through swiss tv, 2 weeks ahead of the actual french release.
>>155273015
The bank robber is quite the looker.
>>155278278She does have some good hips.
>>155273589Technically the real detectives are Maya's absent parents and her inclecas a stand-in, so the agency is legit, which probably helps
>>155278287I liekd Sato's implication that he would have had Max wear her outfit if he could
>>155271438A tiny bit disappointed to see some of the storyboards are repeating
>>155265686>the hips on the blue one>that lookNeed to give this a watch
>>155272496Yeah that part was really amusingIt's also funny because he really uses very different voice intonations between being Esteban and the masked sorcerer but when he's flustered on stage he slips back into Esteban, only less dumb jock than the voice he uses at school.
>>155276350Lingerie detectives.
>>155280415Yeah, didn't quite realize how curvier she is
