I do not need to hear the opinion of a retarded faggot with some uber-autistic lisp, let alone the opinions of the people of this very board.I don't know how 2009–2012 could be considered the “dark age” of television when, even if you didn't like any of the actual slop they were airing, they were still actively showing reruns of much better shows made years prior that you could watch instead.
>>155274931Yes it was
>>155275200You are slop
>>155275319I wish this board wasn't so dead so I wouldn't get non-replies from retarded ESLs.
>>155275335It’s nobody’s fault that nostalgiafags are miserable despite claiming to have experienced “the actually good stuff”.
>>155275200>they were still actively showing reruns of much better shows made years priorThe early and mid 2000s did this.I don't remember what they had for reruns in 2009.But it was definitely not as good as what they were rerunning previously.Does anyone have a weekly schedule for CN, Nick and whatever the third channel was at the time?
>>155275375https://cnas.fandom.com/wiki/2009https://cnas.fandom.com/wiki/2010There is still some Courage, EE&E, Dexters Lab, etc being aired here, if that still falls under "better' in comparison to the newer shows at least.
>2009-2012>dark age>compared to the golden age of 2020-presentlol. lmao even. nothing even compares. 2009-2012 at least they were still trying new shit and pumping out new content consistently. now we get a ton of reboots, zombie shows, and if were lucky, 1 or 2 new cartoons that are actually good and don't get cancelled after a season. were in the worst dark age right now, at least for cartoons and animation
>>155275410>look at random 2009 day>johnny test was almost the teen titans go of that era with prime time slots + air timeoof, is that why I remember it so well and saw all the episodes whilst Batman Brave & the Bold I barely saw any of?
>>1552749312008-2010 was the dark age of animation where you dogshit like Flapjack & Chowder and if you didn't like it you could always watch Zack n Cody, Selena Gomez and other LIVE ACTION GARBAGE on both the Disney and the CARTOONnetwork channel. I don't know if Boomerang Nickledeon got affected like that too.2008 economic crisis + Boston fake bomb did a number on animation. The last ever NEW good cartoon to air was Generator Rexafter that shit got so bad with dogshit like Disney of all people swallowing the Steven Universe bean mouth and quirky plucky insane brown girl protagonist ... and your alternative was watching Adventure Time.... it got so bad that we actually thought Netflix was our saviour at one point at least from the bad art style ... till we noticed how bad Netflix is written and how much gay Steven Universe shit they shove down your throats as well.
>>155275863Nice seething
>>155275877Can somebody ban this bot?
>>155275885There’s no bot here
>>155275896I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, non English speaker.

>>155275863>and how much gay Steven Universe shit they shove down your throats as well.Disney and Netflix make me wonder where all the men went.My male friends also make me wonder.
>>155275293It was?
>>155275877>>155275896Nice going to bed, bot.
>>155275863Thank god everyone forgot about gaynerator Rex and still love flapjack. Lmao
>>155277111u sound like mrenter
>>155274931Feels like we're in more of a dark age nowWhat is there to even watch right now?
>>155275863Great cartoonists came out of Flapjack.
>>155277835So great they killed the western animation industry
>>155275375Jimmy Neutron was still rerunning every single saturday and sunday on Nick in 2009-2010. Even airing on weekdays on Nick in 2010 for a time.
late 2000’s to early 2010’s was generally a shit time for television. you had the rapid popularity of watch stuff on the internet for free and rather than adapt to it tv executives put their retarded caps on and just spewed shit on their channels with 1 or 2 shows only running constantly to salvage any viewership that’s left. animation took a hit in budget and creativity
>>155277835
>>155274931Exactly how?
