But again, her story feels convuluted and confusing, and bouncing between soace and Earth makes it more jarring. I can understand the Manhunters and Simon Baz, but Ewing is handling "Bad Idea #0" in a less effective way than Absolute MM. Quite frankly, Absolute GL feels like it's two books shoved into one and they both be seperated to manage the story. Just make Absolulte Authority already.Also, I'm getting worried for Cameron here. Feels like she's getting close to the edge and going mad herself. And before I forget, this book gets points off for Ewing's overuse of pop-culture references. Makes it seem like he's using them to cover up weak dialogue and pad out the issue.

>>155279858Tariffs for the US are a bad idea because people in the US consume a lot and lots of business rely on that massive consumption. Literally day-to-day expenses rely on that consumption to continue, especially from other countries. If the US makes foreign products harder to buy in the US, then if you make US product harder to be bought in other countries, you are hitting the market twice over, because other countries aren't as ravenous to buy stuff as the US, so keeping sales up internationally for most american companies (Save super cutting edge tech) is incredibly hard because China, Europe, etc can provide similarly good products and services for a lower price, or even local options.America's economy and purchase power is built on them being able to buy things from other country on the cheap while the other countries still make profits because the dollar is the "world" currency and usually high value. So tariffs, both ways, hurt the US more than the other countries.
