I think this can apply to almost every commercial hobbyist subculture too so c) the discussion gets too broad. Ultimately I do wish I could have this talk with people but I gave up many years ago on ever being able to have it with someone of a like mind, and anyone here is just going to have a kneejerk reaction, or bait.
