When do you think Tom & Don will introduce "primarchs" into the show?
>>
>>155302065
There's only space king, also who needs primarchs when you have titans.
>>
Looks like War world is going to become the most popular space king episode maybe even more views than the pilot, I don't remember the others getting 7 million views this fast
>>
>>155303009
It's really good, I'm starting to believe they really underselled how good the sound design of this show is.

His seed unto our boys
>>
>>155303009
>>155303020
Choir engine was sick
>>
>>155303065
It was cool as fuck. A literal train conductor was a fun visual.
>>
>>155303065
>>155303154
For me it was even better by the joke of the guy turned into a bell
Like a subtle jab at 40k grimderp for needing to have everything run on human suffering foe the sake of it and how silly that becomes.
>>
>>155302065
Wait for the Boardgame lore to drop and then shit will get interesting in the space king franchise
>>
Waiting for an enemy girl faction
>>
Watching for a Faction that turns Boys into Girls, like that one episode of Kids Next Door.
>>
>>155302065
Considering how entirely focused everything is on Space King, I kind of doubt it. Feels like we would have seen some mention of them by now. Primarchs are a level of lore complexity I would be surprised if they introduce.
>>
>>155302065
Honestly I'm surprised how good this shit is.
>>
Primarchs would be stupid, but I think the general concept of how legions are created and when and how they might split or define themselves is valid.
Like you could do an episode where a chapter has just been created and the Star Defenders are called in to help train them, and end up influencing their culture going forward.
>>
>>155302065
Nah but they'll probably do chapter masters which are primarchs without the daddy issues
>>
>>155303351
It walks the line between shitpost, parody, and homage very well.
>>
>>155303009
I liked the pedo priest
>>
>>155303359
>High Command takes you to visit your cousin chapter
>>
Space king might be
An eventual analog for growing up, where he'll be an actual adult and no longer into conquest. The warriors will either lose their minds and revolt or SK will convince them to grow up and they blindly follow as always.
Or we'll learn that he did die and his gloubuals in the back of the fridge. Chestnut will be involved.
Or he's deep in alien poontang and the belief he's celibate is lie that no one remembers where it came from.
Or, he'll show up in the last episode with milk and cigarettes and the writers will let the joke stand on its own.
>>
I still have money on Space Mom showing up and trying to force everyone to put away their toys.
>>
I wonder what Space King's version of a Rogue Trader would be?

Otaku-kun buying and selling anime merchandise out of a space van?
>>
>>155302065
The way it's set up there's nothing indicating Primachs, though they'll likely be a bit fast and loose with lore. I think the closest we'll get is the commander of each legion (besides High Command) being a cool older brother type, or like a distilled extreme of what the legion's gimmick is for a more comedic bent.
>>
>>155303488
>An eventual analog for growing up, where he'll be an actual adult and no longer into conquest. The warriors will either lose their minds and revolt or SK will convince them to grow up and they blindly follow as always.
That's retarded. Tom & Don said it themselves, at this point it's more subversive and funny to just play this shit completely straight. Space King's the coolest and he's on board with killing all the aliens. Why'd he leave, you ask? Some sort of super important task only he could complete, and once he returns he's going to wipe out the rest of the filthy xenos, and usher in a thousand year era of rock music and cool motorcycles and other shit young boys like.
>>

Hatemonger is just that likeable.
>>
>>155303666
That's not Hatemonger. He'd have just swatted her with the Hatemace
>>
>>155303666
Anyone else notice that Bryce's voice sounds like Trey Parker's "rob shnieder" voice?
>>
>hatemonger prayer at the end
God I get such a hard on for a righteous prayer leading to a kill
>>
So Hatemonger is gay, right?
OR a woman.
>>
>>155303065
>>155303154
Interesting thing, you can hear the choir in the background very distantly for most of the EP up until they get massacred.
>>
>>155304361
Hatemonger is hate incarnate
so ya, a woman
>>
>>155303769
It's not that, he just hates women. And women love what hates them.

>>
>>155304455
Space King has actual narrative payoff instead of just endlessly escalating every damn episode assuming that jingling keys in your face is enough to keep you engaged.

Hatemonger probably has an AI write all his prayers.
The fraud.
>>
>>155304361
No, he's literally being played straight. Tom and Don have talked about this in their fireside chats
>>
>>155304220
It is fucking awesome seeing battle priests like this in action. Reciting their battle sermons during a fight is hard to top.
>>
>>155304686
I love skele-shield so much, I hope he sticks around for future episodes.
>>
>>155304220
Reminds me of a Lantern Oath. I hope it gets featured in the next merch drop, we could always use more Hatemonger merch.
>>
>>155303642
I like to think he's fighting somewhere. Like, where the emperor is a corpse sitting and being a beacon for space travel, space king is out there, actively fighting and expanding his kingdom.
>>
>>155302065
They can be cool toys psycho warrior use on the ships between fights.
>>
>>155303189
It's going to be interesting that's for sure. It'll be the most direct lore dump we could get for the series so far.
>>
For some reason Space King is decently popular in China, Chinese translations have hundreds of thousands of views, and there are even some fan dubs.
>>
>>155303202
not gonna happen. the entire idea of space king is just give boys and young men something for themselves since everything else has been ruined by the inclusion of woman. adding women as anything more then quick background t&a would make the series pointless
>>
>>155302065
you mean like Space Sons?

>>
>>155304470
This, I don't know why so many retards try to sell that shit as a good action show. The animation isn't even that good, everything is all weird and floaty and you never really get a good impact despite it mostly being giant robot fights.
>>
One underrated yet extremely commendable thing about SK in my opinion is the fact that, despite parodying one one most lore-heavy franchises ever made, Flashgitz didn't stoop down to abject lorefaggotry.
Imagine if instead of trying to tell actual stories and jokes they'd just drop-feed hints about "le bigger picture" to capitalize on the TADC zoomer audience?
>>

skibidi?

Yes

hatemonger is an absolute tank, fucker killer the technofiend that was killing psychos left and right like nothing all with two blows, one to knock it down other to finish the job
then he was trading blows with grimboar

He really is
>>
>>155302065
Something I've been thinking the general main group we follow might be the remains of a legion of a traitor "primarchs" equivalent but these are the remainder of the Legion Who Remain loyal to space king.Rudolph might have came from way back before the space king equivalent of the HH and the other members of the squad might have their big leader still around but there's been no mention of a "primarchs" equivalent because they don't know about it the ones we see on screen usually or they just see him as a traitor.

Guys ... are we the normies?
>>

Kinda wanna see Warhammer 40k vs Space King. I think my money might go for the Psycho-warriors with just the fucking thickness of their armor, size and their laz-guns are massive if not bordering on plasma weaponry.
>>
>>155307314
scary for the demons and aliens that is, if he leaded a suicide charge I would follow him blindly in a second dude.

>>155307355
No anon, we were here before it was cool

>>
>>155307385
i wouldnt mind a dark ages mod where you play as him, so less guns and more melee without the recharge bullshit and hatemonger just talking all the time and inventing slurs for the demons
>>
>>155307409
>>155307416
Exactly. They're almost reincarnated and deathless with the whole "globbual" idea where they retain their memories and experiences, so they just get more of an eternal veteran status. The only thing that seems to entice any of them would maybe be Slaneesh, since the whole big alien tits episode. But I doubt it.
>>
I think that Hatemonger's face reveal will be nothing special for the sole reason that at least Chestnut already saw what he looks like under the armor multiple times when he was ressurrected and he never acted like Hatemonger is some sort of anomaly like Rudolph.

I find funny how in the Q&A videos Tom and Don say that all those yumejo and BL fanarts are made by dudes when any internet veteran is aware of how degenerate and autistic some femoids can be. For a pair of dudes that make a living making edgy cartoons they're still stuck in the normalfag mindset.
>>
>>155307506
Isn't it weird how many YT foid reviewers are reviewing Space King and then Larping that they always were big fans of Warhammer 40k? Especially VTubers too doing really forced faking laughing to try and garner the male audience by playing up the meme, "how do you do fellow male nerds, I a femoid YTuber like your content too, now watch and simp for me".
>>
even the average psycho is strong as fuck, like bryce is the tech guy yet he was able to hold grim boar fairly well by himself with that chain

Retard in the internet everyone is a guy until they show their tits.
Also wtf am i looking at?
>>
>>155307527
rather easy
There is a huge shadow economy of lonely mfers on the internet meaning that even if you have the blandest personality ever, if you act like you like the stuff they are interested in, they will love you.

And for most normies that is usually the "current thing", the nowdays equivalent of the water cooler talk about yesterday's football game.
>>
>>155307548
Slaneesh corruption
>>
>>155307382
>>155307409
>>155307457
PW pros:
>respawn mechanics
>no/very little technological stagnation, imaginators literally make new tech on the fly
>FTL that doesn't seem to involve jumping through Giga Rape Hell dimension

PW cons:
>somewhat limited baseline arsenal of weapons when compared to Astartes and Imperium at large
>said weaponry/armor is only as effective as the rule of funny allows it to be
>they have retards like Captain and his squad in their ranks

Way more of a toss-up than I thought, honestly. Of course, we can't really gauge it properly since we don't know the full scale of Space King as a setting.
>>
>>155307658
yeah we dont know what other weapons they have and it's implied captain and the rest are outliers though they are not the only ones and of course even they can be competent as hell when needed
also I feel like they are toning down the rule of funny in the weapon department for rule of coo
>>
we need an episode where chestnut fucking dies and no one wants to touch his dick to retrieve his goblules so they jump to a bunch of hoops to get someone else to do it.
>>
>Bryce is an awful imaginator
>Chestnut is a mediocre medic aid but is a MVP in combat

Does that mean that there is someone assigning psycho warriors to roles that they don't fit in? Even the misfits were basically just a bunch of dudes that didn't like the roles they were given.
>>
>>155307982
Yes, high command.
>>
>>155307982
bryce is an awesome imaginator, guy made a chaos weapon thing in mere seconds and it worked as planned
it's just that he can be dumb when it comes to discissions and overly complicates things
>>
>>155307470
It's pretty much guaranteed he's got a normal face under there. Just a running gag that well probably never see it.
>>
>>155308653
I imagine he's got a baby face
>>
In one of their second channel videos Don and Tom mentioned that medicae don't usually get attached to small squads and that Chestnut being a part of that reclaimer squad in particular had some yet-to-be-revealed lore implications.

Any theories on that? My money is on some kind of Space King-related prophecy that needs these 4 dipshits to be together.
>>
You know, I really enjoy how childish these guys are, especially the Captain, they really are just giant kids sometimes, makes me feel paternal towards them.
>>
>>155308886
I kind of imagine this is because Captain is the "chapter-master" of the Space Defenders.
>>
>>155307506
That pic makes my heterosexuality cover his eyes
>>
>>155308035
An imaginator's job is to make inventions that solve problems. Merely being competent at making functional (awesome) machines doesn't make you a good imaginator. This is the plot of the Terry episode, where Terry is outshining Bryce with his less impressive imaginations. Because they actually solve the issues.

I'll argue that Bryce is the only member of the squad actually incompetent at his job, as he has not been shown to make a single imagination that actually solves the problem at hand. Unlike everyone else, who has been show fulfilling their roles competently at least once.
>>
hopefully never ever
>>
>>155309138
I personally hate Bryce cause of this, he gets the coolest gun out of everyone in the squad, yet he is also the biggest retard and often causes more issues than he solves. I hope next episode he becomes a bit more competent.
>>
>>155309138
especially at the end when captain still tries to pick retard terry over bryce
>>
I did in fact miss seeing high command in this episode.
>>
>>155309219
You missed the subtle joke that his gun is just 4 normal guns glued together and has the same fire rate as a regular gun which means that he is holding 4 times the normal weight for no good reason
>>
i like chestnut's armor is colored teal on the forearms to make it look like operation gloves
>>
>>155309280
He reloads 25% less often (but it takes him 400% the time to finish a full reload). This is actually a functional trait, it makes it a SAW, he's the squads' support gunner.
>>
>>155309042
I really like the moments where they're just having fun.
>>
>>155309466
I fucked my math, but i hope it makes sense anyway.
>>
>>155309262
I liked High Command as a parental force.
>>
No, but they should introduce a chaos god equivalent, except instead of the embodiment of our mental energy they should be the embodiment of internet autism. Like you could have a furry god who corrupts reality and has furry cults that summons furry demons. You could do the same thing with various forms of autism too like anime.
>>
>>155310554
Feels a bit cheap and meta, none of the current aliens are really references to things beyond 40k stuff. I think it'd be funnier if they were just very, very nice Psycho-Warriors, like an inverse to Chaos being spikes and baby-eating.
>>
>>155310617
Nah, it'd be funny. The same way autism spreads across the internet it does across a planet and people have to fend it off. You coud have inquisitors tossings furries into ovens on masse, investigating people for drawing yiff art, preforming exorcisms on people to get then to stop being so spergy. They've already kinda done this with their 40k animations, so it'd blend well with spacw kings humor. Atleast in my opinion.
>>
>>155303528
That's just the Capitalist in the Christmas ep. Overtly so.
>>
>>155303359
Another interesting concept would be is the recruitment of a brand new Psycho Warrior, i.e. someone who isn't resurrected from globules, but rather someone who becomes worthy of having their globules preserved.
>>
>>155303189
>Boardgame
Eurgh, that shit rubs me the wrong way
Anyone that isn't tabletop inclined, know this: 99% of the time, if ANY property introduces ANY kind of Board Game Kickstarter, then they're the biggest fags in the universe.

But I guess this at least has some green flags in that, if the minis are good enough and the right silohuette to be proxies or used in GDF, then $100 for two squads of termies and a bunch of not-Tau aint that bad
>>
>>155303642
That's gay as fuck though.
>>
>>155310782
I'd sometimes agree with you considering how hard it is to make even an ok boardgame work, but considering this is a series based on a franchise made up of a tabletop army game, I can sort of give this series a pass for wanting to at least try a boardgame.
>>
since the big robots are all giants even the titans
are there bigger psychos that are not too big?
like terminators being bigger psychos?
>>
>>155310829
Someome said that since these are all children, then the titans are sixth-graders/Middle-schoolers
>>
>>155310829
We've seen some Psycho Warriors that are knight sized but I don't think we've seen a terminator sized one yet. If they can grow a whole damn titan then I'd think growing anything in between that and a regular Psycho Warrior shouldn't be that hard. Just depends on how big the globules are.
>>
>>155302065
