I love B-list superheros and I just woke up with a weird desire to go read up on Aquaman. Where should I start? What does this board think of Aquaman?

>>155305392I'll 2nd the Geoff Johns New 52 run as probably the best starting point for most people. It also isn't particularly long so it's a pretty quick read.I'm also greatly enjoying the current Jeremy Adams run that is still ongoing.

>>155305392>>155305428Peter David's run SUCKS. He made the stellar Atlantis Chronicles and DC let him do whatever he wanted to with Aquaman. His underwater Tarzan is jarring as fuck and should have been an original character instead off doubling down on him being the same guy from the Silver age. Worst part is Aquaman never beats anyone that matters, in it the villains get hoisted by their own petard of just lose interest. The build up is great but the climax sucks.
I love the art on the current ongoing one but these last few issues have juat been powerscaling crap to give Arthur needless feats and a fuck load of cliffhangers
