So what I'm understanding is that comic readers are largely woman-minded. They think superhero comics are best as "soap operas from boys", seem to value relationships over action, and go all in on creator gossip far more than on the actual comic book stories. Why is this?
>>155307168Why do sound insufferable?
>So>incontinent yapping
>>155307168You can like action AND character relationships, dumbass
I don't know if that actually reflects the audience, but if you read something like modern Spider-Man it's easy to assume the writers at least assume the audience wants soap operas.
>>155307245When the topic of action choreography in comics comes up, you always get several posters here claiming superhero comics were never about action and that too much action sucks. Threads about character relationships tend to max out.
>>155307182>>155307231>doesn't even deny it
>>155307978No
>>155307424So what does that have to do with women? It's mostly men here, maybe they're just horny and touch-starved
>>155308032It's woman-minded.
>>155308247Faggot
>>155308253I suppose it can be considered faggotty too. Arguably more apt than saying woman-minded. I forget that gays exist.
>>155308572Sure
>>155308247They're just horny and touch-starved, that's the most manly a guy can be
>>155307168Wasn’t Stan’s actual favorite thing to write in those days the sappy teen romance comics like Patsy Walker?
>>155307168No, they're modern Greek stories.
>>155308759That's how you get betas, simps, amd trannies. The manliest you can be is a man that fucks and impregnates real women.
>>155310553That's what simps believe
>>155310553I just want a horny, touch starved 35 year old /co/tard to fuck and talk comics with
>>155310796extremely gay
>>155307168They're called manchildren. They're emotionally and intellectually stunted.
>>155311302It's only gay if the 35 y/o in question is female
>>155307168Not all comic readers, just a vocal minority of the females (and female-minded men).
