ITT: Random DC animated movies you remember. There's sixty of them over nineteen years now.
>>155373858why did diana just kidnap her again?that shit is so weirdwhat, did she want a foreign alien woman her sisters could gangrape?
>>155373858Every female in this movie is waifu material. Yes, even Granny Goodness.
>>155373858You now recall Justice League: Doom.
>>155373858Superman vs The Elite was pretty good from what I recall, I haven't seen it since release.
>>155374074she should've had pink heart pasties over her nipples
>>155374074Holy TITS
>>155374074I like Metallo and Bane, Star Sapphire and Cheetah look sexo. Maybe I'll check that one out.
>>155373858It doesn't matter.
>>155374128yeah they're just hanging out there in this movie
>>155373858
>>155373858Assault on Arkham kino
>>155374514
>>155374514darkseid creampied her pregnant, didnt he
>>155373858>>155373947>>155374514>>155374576Genuinely one of the best ones, also gave us this legendary moment.
>>155374640>film seems to be wrapping up>Darkseid just shows up at the front door and punts Superman through the farmhouse to start a final brawlVery Darkseid thing to do.
>>155374640get his fucking rags off
kino
>>155373858I wish they made more movies based on the Superman Batman book
>>155373858Haven't seen any of them since each released and I fell off them around five or six years ago, but I recall The New Frontier being really cool.
>>155374657>Darkseid just standing there by the door waiting.>Where are they? It's been an hour.
>>155374485They let Bruce Timm reveal his full gooner power level for this movie
I really wish All Star was better. It had some nice moments but on the whole missed the point and even cut out some of the bigger stuff you'd expect to see. If they started doing them in parts here it would have worked way better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EphFQelYhp8Theme music was good though
>>155374671>ending is a light-hearted and hopeful scene>rest of the movie warps it into a somber and haunting memory Bruce will carry until the day he diesBatman and Robin, together again.I wonder if the Knightfall sequels will delve into it.
>>155374673Yeah they were great, though they wouldn't be the same without Kevin Conroy.
Unbound was a pretty alright Brainiac story. Not my favorite way they drew Supes mug though.
>>155373858Public Enemies gave us the best Luthor moment: His love for Waller's chocolate cakehttps://youtu.be/mkEnX5MQpcw?is=zxnoXAgiHakbCOp4
Kara, I...
>>155374761God bless America. God bless me.
>>155374759>Not my favorite way they drew Supes mug though.Would've looked better if they stuck closer to Gary Frank's art in the original comic.
>>155374671DiMaggio was a surprisingly good Joker
>>155374783Might be hard to do in animation with the full detail but they could have gone for a more Reeve eque look pretty easy.
>>155374794Definitely. Great stand in for Hamill when he's not available
Any good ones in the last 6 years? I think Superman Red Son was the last new one I saw.
>>155374808Watch Knightfall
>>155374808Knightfall came out recently and was decent. I wasn't too much a fan of the Tomorrowverse though frankly.
>>155374823That was complete ass. It just felt so disjointed and filled with modern bullshit. They practically rocketed on to Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Andrea Romano retiring was a pretty severe blow
>>155374777this takes me back
>>155374074
>>155374856Quite possibly the most skilled voice director in the western sphere. Hell, she even did Boondocks.
There was a trilogy of Batman and Damien Robin films and they have one hundred percent blended into one soup for me. They did two more with Damien in the Teen Titans that I remember better but the three ones with Batman are just "something with the Court of Owls and Deathstroke possibly, they were on the rooftops a lot".
>>155374794I do like his more "deadpan" version of the character in this movie as a contrast to his usual showmanship
>>155374878how do you even serve on the same supervillain team as this and not constantly be distracted?
>>155374794>DiMaggio was a surprisingly good JokerSpeaking of, I was replaying the first Arkham game recently, I forgot how many of Joker's goons were voiced by DiMaggio, he's practically doing his Bender voice. Made me laugh, but took me out of it every time.
>>155374910They're sinking cities with a GIANT WoOOOooRMM!
>>155374846I thought Man of Tomorrow was OKAY but the whole look of the films were just really boring. The direction was boring. Everything was staged and framed so boring.
>>155374940Oh noOh NO
>>155374918Most of the villains where to fixated on their hate boner.
>>155374940Archer lookin motherfucker
>>155374939he's a fantastic voice actor>>155374940oh godwhat the fuck
I thought the Dark Knight Returns two-parter was decent, but I was really disappointed they had Conan just playing himself as the talk show host instead of David Letterman, kind of ruined the whole mid-80's time period and setting of the story to do that.
sorry about the X-Ray glasses Power Girl
>>155374962Yeah the whole series had that vibe to it. It didn't help that all the voice acting was really bland too.
>>155374939There are some lines that simply call for chewing the scenery and that was one of them.
>>155374920>DiMaggio doing a voice in something, it's a totally different thing suiting whatever the role is, then he hits just one single syllable creeping into Bender and I crack upNo fault of his. But there's a few VAs like that, like Jim Cummings doing just the slightest hint of Minsc in a line, just gets me chuckling.
>>155374991in dire need of some rape
>>155374910Joker is a character you ought to try a variety of angles with, make him your own, rather than treating him as just one specific thing. Sometimes that's a massive bomb, like Leto or Young Justice's, but other times you get a cool take like this one.
>>155374459>>155374485>>155374514>>155374991>>155374691They got a lot of nice ladies in these huh?
I don't think Justice League and JLU ever really gave Newbern the chance to shine as Superman really. So it was nice seeing him in vs the Elite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGtiinR6ni8
That said I do wish they made more JL canon movies like Fatal Five. Though I guess it wouldn't work without Kevin
I liked the dyke tease in that Catwoman movie
>>155375112When all were still working it seemed like a waste to not do more DCAU movies, it's a relatively simple style so the budget for their usual DC film would cover it with ease, and you could basically treat it like a three parter for whatever you want in the DCAU, a Batman story (long time since BTAS, plenty you could do there), a Superman story (ditto STAS), or more Justice League stuff. I guess they need the films to make a little money on home video to cover the costs, but it seemed like a natural way to use the cast and creatives who were still around. With Conroy gone and many of them getting on in age I think the period passed, but only doing two DCAU throwback films seemed too scant.
>>155375112Y'know this wasn't gonna be a DCAU movie at first? They changed it to make it canon to JLU mid-production
This one might me the MOST obscure out of all of them. Does anyone else remember this?
>>155375221You know Crisis on Two Earths was? Nothing ever ends up the way it was originally planned. The point was they saw a chance and they took it.
>>155375420I remember really liking this one
>>155375420>>155375452couldve been betterwanted more superwoman
>>155374794I wish he voiced him again.
>>155375478he did for that wackass CYOA quasi-remake of red hood with phineas jason
>>155374671Oh boy did Jensen Ackles mog the fuck out of Troy Baker in doing Red Hood, kinda spoiled Arkham Knight when I'd already seen a much better adaptation of that story not long before.
>>155375516>Jensen AcklesReally wish he'd be DC/WBA's default Jason going forward. Same with Bruce Greenwood as Batman now that Conroy's no longer with us.
>>155373870>why did diana just kidnap her again? For her training>what, did she want a foreign alien woman her sisters could gangrape?also yes
>>155374794He was great, almost as good as Hamil.
