What the fuck is his problem
>>
>>155389791
Bullied as a child prolly
>>
>>155391589
>bullied
he was more than likely sexually abused, its why he creates perfect children who can easily defend themselves
>>
>>155389791
Mother issues. Then he joined SPYRAL which proceeded to run horrific experiments on him before dumping him on his ass.
>>
>>155389791
he got too much cake
>>
>>155392485
He also spent some time in an "extreme" circus -- whatever that means. And he clearly has experience as a biologist, creating that virus in his opening arc. He's a renaissance man.

Pigs are filthy animals.

Grant Morrison's villain.

Who else first heard of him from Arkham Knight?
>>
>>155395981
Not me.
>>
>>155395981
I wish they had done more with him. He's pretty cool.

Secondaries should lurk, not post.
>>
>>155397716
He is a relatively new character that shows up a lot but gets the same treatment as the other rogues
>>
>>155389791
no idea but he's my bitch in the dc comics chatbot prime earth I set up. most of the villains and heroes are. he's just more degen stuff for trauma porn lovers.
>>
He's only been used well twice. Morrison's Batman & Robin, Seeley's Nightwing Must Die.
>>
>>155398426
>twice
That's... not a lot.
>>
>>155400090
Yeah. It's really bad. No one is interested in using him beyond shoving him in background scenes.

Watters used him a little in Arkham City, I'm hoping he'll bring him into his Nightwing run for a proper story.
>>
>>155389791
He just wants to perform at the highest level.
Whatever happened to Son of Pyg?
>>
>>155401841
>Pyg
Well that's a weird way of spelling it...
>>
>>155403218
It's short for Pygmalion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pygmalion_(mythology)

See the resemblance?

HOSTESS FRUIT PIES!!!

I liked his appearance in the Arkham game and expected him to be used more in the comics. But I guess he doesn't have much going on to stand out next to Hush or Szaz.
>>
So what was the difference between Pyg and Dollmaker?
>>
>>155389791
oink oink

I don't really see the appeal with him as a batman character. Most batman villains have an element of whimsy at their foundation that writers can then choose to exagerate or tone down when they want a goofy punching bag or a gritty arkham style portrayal (see mad hatter, riddler, clayface, the penguin etc), Pyg though on a conceptual level has to be gritty regardless of story tone: he carves people up into lobotomised flesh puppets. It sucks because his personality and appearance is akin to the wackiness of a standout batman villian, but he has to have the edge on constantly by design of his motives. It's kind of like victor zsasz. Zsasz is a cool and interesting villian in the batman mythos but he is very much a product of edgy bronze age writing. He's basically the most serial killiest of serial killers and the almost supernatural lengths he will go to in order to claim his next mark. But zsasz has very limited reach in the stories he can be in because his stick is a serial killer, but that's also appeal. He's the edgy corner of batman's rogue gallery along with hush beyond modern joker-wank.

Pyg is almost like trying to have both toes in the cartoonistically edgy corner and the flamboyantly camp corner, but not really belonging to either.

If he was like a mad plastic surgeon who did disguises or helped augment other villians that would give him flexibility, but he has to be on max 0 - 60 because he can't even do the disguises thing due to hush.

he's literally the most proper batman villain :
he's just a fucking serial killer lunatic that need to be stopped.
>>
>>155395981
It was Beware the Batman for me. I kinda liked the whole 'Poison Ivy but it's animals' angle he had in it.

Kino!

He gay
>>

But not for you

He's crazy. Like, legit nuts. More than any other Bat villain. Spewing gibberish crazy.

Bogdanoff looking ass. Bro even calls himself a professor

the shittiest opinion i've seen all day
>>
>>155407557
That's because Pyg wasn't meant to be a constant appearing villain.
>>
>>155411545
That's better.
>>
>>155411231
awman.. :(
>>
>>155403908
You know, it's now so pretentious I don't like it any more.
>>
>>155403908
>>155415060
To be fair, Morrison picked the name from a song, not from the Pygmalion myth.
