Moving away from PrattLord's design? It's the first modern StarLord design that I don't dislike

Weird assortment of characters but I didn't hate it.
>>
>>155394267
Wasn't the original Starlord origin the Lord of the Sun one, and had nothing to do with space pirates?
>>
>>155394276
Bulleye should use a more 70s sniper rifle here, imo like a like an M40
>>
>>155394536
It's just his original design
>>
>>155394930
why are you expecting a modern marvel writer to know that?

Does this take place in current continuity? It annoys me that he's calling Starlord a pirate, this Starlord was hero given powers by an old man who lived in the sun.
>>
>>155399058
This is meant to take place in 1976, so when all these characters were introduced
>>
>>155394191
>Quill is supposed to feel like his original Englehart-style creation but in his first panel he's quipping about his le mcu mixtape

this book already fucking sucks before the end of the first page.

>leave him

i hate the cynical tone of modern marvel capeshit. even DC is better than this
>>
Shit lazy tracer art
Same dumb obnoxious tone of all modern Marvel B level schlock

Stephanie Phillips' success on Daredevil is propped up by the consistent of Matt Murdock as a character, and the Blind Bags gimmick.
Everything else she's written has sucked and this is more of the same.

The gimmick was supposed to be "characters created in 1976" but nothing about this looks or feels like that. There's no charm, there's no cleverness. Nothing pops. And stories about "America birthday milestone years" should have been published no later than July, why is this being published in September?
Its just another filler inventory story and Marvel covered it up with a snake oil cover gimmick.

That's such a non-issue. Quit being a pussy.

>defending this dreck
>>
>>155399084
Then that's bullshit. Starlord isn't a space pirate.
>>
>>155402347
I don't like it. Didn't even read it, but your attitude is all wrong.
