Ever since then, it’s been shorthand for “Strange gone wrong.” Which is quite a shame, as there are LOADS of creative ways to make his costume look even more sinister. I like how all the color schemes are usually reversed with the heroes getting black, purple, and green and the villains getting red, blue, and yellow. But I think some of the villains turned heroes could have gotten better ones where some are still largely black and green which still looks sinister.
