>With The Fury of Firestorm #6 arriving in comic shops today, DC has announced that the DC Next Level series will now continue through issue #15. The extension adds six issues to Jeff Lemire and Rafael De Latorre’s reimagining of Firestorm.>“The Fury of Firestorm has been one of those dream projects that just keeps giving,” Lemire said. “Much like the Firestorm matrix, the story has taken on a life of its own and just keeps expanding into new and unexpected directions.”>The news comes as the series reaches a major turning point in issue #6. >>155397621After the DC KO, the KO residual KO energy that Firestorm receives brings the Firestorm matrix to life. It traps Ronnie Raymond mind inside itself (taking control of Ronnie’s Firestorm body) and goes to a town and using its powers kills everyone there.The government responds by sending people familiar with the Firestorm mythos to investigate like Firehawk and Professor Stein. Firehawk tries to recruit Jason Rusch but he refuses to join as he has a pregnant girlfriend. We get the reveal that Stein purposely created Firestorm as an experiment (it wasn’t an accident). As well as creating others like FireHawk, under secret government funding.Meanwhile the JLA goes to attack Firestorm and gets bitch slapped up. Ronnie Raymond is still inside the dreamscape of the matrix, unaware of what’s going on.Later when Firehawk is close enough she manages to telepathically communicate with Ronnie to wake him up to take back control of his body so the chaos can end.Just right as she’s about to complete that, Professor Martin jumps in and stops that and he communicates with the Firestorm Matrix. It calls him “father.” And he replies they have work to do, as he joins inside the Matrix causing the Firestorm Matrix body to become even more powerful, leaving a terrified Firehawk to look on in shock.Meanwhile the government starts sending in their new Suicide Squad to destroy the Firesroem Matrix once and for all. The Squad consists of (and we all guessed it) Firestorm’s rogues gallery.

Its a slow build suspense about The Matrix taking over the body of Firestorm, trapping Ronnie in his subconscious and going Doc Manhattan with his powers. i'm not going to storytime bc I pick up the actual floppies. Find a pirate site on your own and formulate your own opinion...... or just do the thing that the rest of the /co/ lemmings do and base your whole summation off the very brief one sentence description I gave. Everyone else does it and you don't want to be different
