What's your favorite era of x-men comics? least favorite (if applicable)?
Storm
>>155405058If adjacent series count, my favorite is Moore's Captain Britain.
>>155405058Obviously the Claremont run is the best. I couldn't stand it for a long time after he left. So I guess my least favorite would be Lobdell? There are probably worse than him out there but I haven't really read any of the modern stuff>>155405111Kinky
>>155406465lobdell was basically claremont's run in the way byrne mocked- personal, silent issues, and plenty of tearjerkers.
I wonder if Doom still has that Ororobot

>>15540505890s and 00s80s was the Calremont's faggotry10s was Marvel trying to murder Xmen20s are just bland and shitty in general90s was an age of amazing toy'esque and sexualized aesthetic, macho men and straightforward heroic stories00s was and era of serious and pretty well writen storiesalso Jean being dead is objectively on of the best things that happend to XMenshe hamstrings this setting and stories with Phoenix faggotry and stronk woman bitch attitude
>>155405058While the first Claremont run is the best, he’s actually the worst for an evergreen team, because his plots and roster kept changing. That’s great to get interest and popularity in the comic but for the #1 cross media franchise, it’s a hindrance because there’s no room to breathe. The iconic Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler and Kitty roster is in reality is very minuscule in the actual comics. Yet this was THE roster for evergreen adaptations copied for a good while.
>>155405111Storm is such a girlboss without being cringe

Calremont run was the one that focused too much of Storm and Wolverine, introduce godawful triangle and turned JeanPhoenix into an absolute cancer for the rest of the story.Couple of good stories do not compensate the long term damage he did to the franchise.Praising him or calling his run the best is a sign of low IQ sheep.
>>155410410She's been pretty cringe more recently.
>>155405058I myself am rather fond of the Academy X era
>>155405058The one after the introduction of Storm and Colossus, but BEFORE the introduction of Gambit and Jubilee
>>155405058None
>>1554050582004 through 2016. Cyclops turning into the X-Men's War General.
Claremont X-Men is bad.
