Does anyone here remember anything about Bear in the Big Blue House?
>>
Bananas in Pajamas.
>>
>>155405199
This is my second favorite show next to Tokyo Mew Mew.
>>
>>155405199
All I remembered was that the house opened up like one of those dollhouses. I don't know that I ever actually watched the show. But I did watch little bear and I don't remember any of that either.
>>
So we're going to have Bear threads multiple times every day now?

The moon appeared in every episode, yet the sun just appeared in one (or a few) for some reason...

I only want to make threads of preschool shows and Tokyo Mew Mew because I'm a fucking faggot and I WANT to DIE!!
>>
>>155405199
I had 3 DVDs of this show that I would watch over and over again as a toddler but weirdly enough I don't remember ever actually watching it like live on TV

I get all squishy inside when he'd sniff the screen

>What I see with my eyes is two bears of different sizes
>One of them is me and one is you
>You're bigger and you're taller / And you're a little smaller
>But I'm still a bear shape too
>Me, I'm the shape of a bear
>From the tips of my paws to the fuzz of my hair
>Not a circle, a squiggle, or a square
>We are both the shape of a bear
>We are both the shape of a bear
>We are both... the shape... of a bear!

Thats one of my many favorite songs from the show.

Why were a decent amount of the show lost media for years? Sure, about 50 episodes were on VHS or DVD, but atleast here in america, a good amount of episodes was unaccessible to american audiences even through piracy. Mostly episodes from season 4, but even a decent handful of seasons 1-3 episodes weren't even available through piracy either.

I just remember being annoyed it wasn't Blue's Clues

>Back in the day when The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock would cross over fairly often
It's a shame Bear in the Big Blue House wasn't around yet to join in on all the fun.
>>
>>155405199
I remember it was cute and sweet, and it gave me hope that the kids of the day might actually turn out okay. Made me wish I had some of my own.
>>155405534
it was fun when they did a reversi for a stay-up-late episode...
>>155405626
The performer is a real sweetheart IRL too.
>>155406292
Yeahhh those days were LONG gone.. I believe "Muppet Family Christmas" was the last time they all appeared together. That special is incredible because it's just this little low-budget TV thing, nothing fancy at all, but the amount of HEART in it, and the way the three franchises all get their chance to shine... plus some legit humor.

Any thoughts on Tutter?
>>
>>155405626
I felt like such a comedian putting my ass up to the tv when he did this.
>>

I remember an episode about the bear finding a secret basement underneath his Big Blue House. He found another Big Blue House, but the moon was gone. When the bear went inside, he found himself. Warped and distorted, only able to move his eyes while everything else remained totally static. His friends? All gone, with the exception of Tutter's head sticking out through where his hole in the wall should've been.

I changed the channel and stuck to watching the news.
>>
>>155405199
Is anyone here?
>>
>>155406777
There is a Big Blue House underneath the Big Blue House.
>>
>>155406383
I didn't have "Bear in the Big Blue House creepypasta" on my 'likely to see' list today, and yet, here we are...
>>
>>155405199
Why did that Newsgrounds game exist? I know some preschool shows can come off as annoying, but Bear was so comfy.
>>
>>155405199
Favorite character and why was it Tutter?
>>
>>155405199
Why is a bear living in a big blue house to begin with? Why are the otters purple? How come the bear's shadow is a girl puppet? How come the moon can talk? This show makes no sense whatsoever and fails to establish it's overall setting and characters in a comprehensive manner.
>>

>How come the bear's shadow is a girl puppet?
She wasn't Bear's shadow, she was just a random shadow he happened to know.

>At the end of a theoretical crossover with all four series, Bear introduces Kermit, Big Bird, and Gobo to Luna and they all sing the Goodbye Song together

I loved the Christmas special and how it dealt with caring for the homeless.
>>
>>155405534
>for some reason
The sun is great and all, but looking at it is literally hazardous to your health.
>>
>>155405199
I loved the clean up song.
>>
>>155405199

i watched this show when i was too young to even comprehend what i was seeing or have an episodic memory. seeing it now has reactivated hidden memories

I'm so glad that Jim Henson's dead and his company's just a husk

All I remember is Bear having the same VA as Magellan the dragon on Eureka's Castle.
>>
>>155405199
I remember being creeped out by Shadow. Not really how she is in the show, but just the concept of a shadow that seemingly isn't anchored to anything and talks to you with very distinct body language is pretty creepy.
>>
>>155411457
Yeah me too I remember as a kid thinking that
>>
>>155410276
Who hurt you, anon?
>>
It was a good comfort show when I was a toddler, then when I was school age, I later see they tried to expand the setting to the whole town, didn't follow it after that because I was in school during Playhouse Disney hours.
And the next thing I hear about it, apparently Goanimate people fucking hate it for no reason.

Tutter later got to be Walter in The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted. And I think he's the current voice of Ernie too?
