Marvel has a better showing here than on print charts, with Avengers rmageddon and Daredevil making the top ten. Sonic the Hedgehog from IDW and Endeavor from DSTLRY (a sister company of Neon Ichiban) round out the Top Ten.

>>155424964Not really. It's pretty rare for a book a year in to still chart on the Top 20 graphic novels/TPB charts; most gns/tpbs chart high at first and are gone after a few months to a year in. Absolute Superman is underperforming relative to the rest of the initial Absolute rollouts, but still outperforming other DC and Marvel books. Keep in mind I say this as someone who doesn't really like Absolute Superman

>>155427067Usually it helps trade sales yes.Authority sold well when Gunn said he was planning on an Authority movie and back when the Tilting at Windmills guy did the yearly trade sales the best selling marvel trades were usually ones that corresponded with the movie that year (Civil War, Coates' Black Panther, Infinity Gauntlet, etc).
Does anybody know if Marvel's Ultimate line, back when it launched at the turn of the millennium, had comparable success to Absolute DC or not?
