9/11 was perpetrated by the Avengers to make the city feel dependent on them. Just think about it:>the one day that they aren't at the Mansion (something about Inhuman diplomacy)>the towers are attacked by terrorists>terrorists that Iron Man could have very easily stopped, or Thor could have intercepted before they even got that far>immediately afterwards, Avengers show up to help with the aftermath and give speeches and tell everyone it's okay>meanwhile we still have supervillains crawling all over New York just waiting to make it happen again.Why would they be able to appear for the clean up right after the towers fell, but not the attack itself? Why did the government become way more entangled with the team after all of this? Why did other teams, like the X-Men, start getting way more radical and anti-human after a tragedy unrelated to heroes for once? It's the fucking Avengers' faults.
