Any other Mirage fans out there, what'd you think of her solo book? I enjoyed it. Always happy to see my favorite Mutie get some spotlight. I'm glad it had a happy ending, you know how comic books get with parents in danger.

The art was weak. Not the book's fault. Marvel is cheap and pays low rates, so it attracts a lot of willing-to-work-for-cheap artists from other countriesAshley Allen is okay. Definitely one of the better new gen of cheap writers working at marvel ... daming with faint praise.Her Magik was fine, this was fine, Magik & Colossus was also fine. Dani can't really ever carry anything more than a 5 issue mini if these are the types of stories she has. Some (a lot)(most0 characters just work better in ensembles and thats okay.I get why Marvel split them up into two books, but I would have much rather preferred a "Magik & Moonstar" official team-up book. Allen has tapped into a fun dynamic with them. I would be okay if she was tasked with doing an OG New Mutants revival book. I trust her to write Sam, Bobby, Rahne, Karma, etc. They're due for another B-level sidequest ongoing attempt where they're mostly immune from the main X team bullshit (except for when they get dragged into tie-ins)
