I finally read the whole thing the last time someone posted it here. Much like Y the Last Man I liked the premise and the journey but the ending just felt flat and not satisfying enough to leave a good impression.

There was that awkward gay confession and rejection at the end that came out of nowhere and basically felt like character assassination.
