Say what you will about the show now, this episode perfectly captured the ethos of America in the aftermath of 9/11. Fascinating to return too.
>>155432149This episode was literally the turning point for the series for the worse though.
>>155432149Remember when a bunch of stupid zoomers idolized Osama bin laden because tiktok told them he did nothing wrong? I member.
>>155432246Why are Zoomers so quick to fall for propaganda?
>>155432264Ai, YouTube brainrot and growning up with no parental figures in their life have melted their brains.
>>155432149this episode is so fucking bizarre to watch now.>Most of it is based around post-9/11 paranoia which isn't funny at all in the slightest>They had no idea how to actually end the episode so they just turned it into a Looney Tunes parody with Osama being depicted as goofy and stupid as possible to mock al-Qaeda while also pandering to americans who wanted revenge. Like at the time people enjoyed it because it was accurate to how they felt and served as a form of catharsis but these days it's just one of the worst written classic era South Park episodes. Probably the most dated episode of all time because it was only good when it first came out.
>>155432581The creators of South Park are Jewish. That’s explains everything. They also supported the Iraq war (which only benefitted Israel.)
>>155432246They're too young to remember America pre 9/11.
>>155432246>>155432264>>155432324TikTok started a literal movement recently where teenagers hit their fucking jaws with a hammer to ensure a better jawline
>>155432581>They had no idea how to actually end the episode so they just turned it into a Looney Tunes parody with Osama being depicted as goofy and stupidIts an homage to WW2 cartoons.
>>155432203That doesn't look like Season 20...
