I am not loving it, and I actually enjoyed Lindelof's Watchmen for the most part. Lanterns moves at a snail's pace and the the ring is underutilized for how central it is to the plot.

Thirdly, so many major threats GLs face can utilize emotions like fear, love, hope, etc. like it's pure energy with the fear one being absolutely devastating to all sentient beings. Forth, GLs operate solo. You need to be brave because you are without any support, there is no backup.
