Some could also be lying (saying they work harder than what they they actually do or the opposite and underselling how hard they work). Akira Toriyama made it sound like it was cake but he had tons of experience to the point where he could craft his work in a way so as to be easier to write and draw.
Even one of the biggest guys made a comic about it.

I don't normally read comics but I've got all three issues out right now because I'm reading them with a friend.So far, the first one is the only one I liked. The other two didn't seem to have much chemistry between the characters and character development just happens for no reason.Next one comes out tomorrow, hopefully it's good, or at least bad in a funny way.
