Did you enjoy Dang? I'm a Japanese/White hapa. I liked Dang, but not really enough to rewatch the episodes. I did really like the opening song of the wacky stuff happening on the NYC subway. I did like how New York City the show feels, with doing things like exploring the streets, going to Central Park, and going on the subway. No other show really explored white/Asian relationships in the US like Dang. Ruthie has her cuck British husband she doesn't like. I liked the episode where Eunice had to deal with a white fetishizer. The show has things that only Asian-Americans will understand like the parents having a favorite child.There was an incest scene where Eunice gave Andrew mouth to mouth. I do want one more season where it ends with Ruthie giving birth, but I don't want this show to go on for more than 2 or 3 seasons. My favorite character is Eunice for how cute she is and her relationship with Andrew.

The biggest flaw for me was that the characters seemed to already feel Flanderized by the end of the season in a way that felt detrimental to the later parts of the season. Eunice was the best Dang by default, as Ruthie was almost irredemable and Andrew got worse as the season came to a close. Greta was probably the best character.
