Crazy Jane's backstory was genuinely some of the darkest shit I've ever seen in a comic book show.

Not only was her dad sniffing out since she was an infant but when she got to adulthood she got lured into an orgy by a friend who proceeded to fuck her. She hallucinates him as her dad...and she starts giving into rape. That was too much.

Jane's actress did a great job at differentiating all of her personalities. Leaning into the camp helped a lot but she did her job.

Oh yeah. I remember I was hella wrong on that one, when they showed the promotional image with Cyborg I hated they were obviously cramming him in to try to build him up and hated he would obviously have the whole show built around him and "Racism bad". Then he had an absofuckinglutely stellar showing in the first season, easily some of his best stuff I've seen in any medium. The character was well built, and when they did the body horror reveal I immediately realized he was absolutely perfect for this show. Blew away every expectation, and at the time I'd hadn't seen another story with such a unique concept of "Living tech inside of you is healing you by replacing damaged tissue, meaning every time you fight you lose more of yourself". Rita's storyline was fantastic too, and the actress knocked it out of the park. But Robotman was far and away the best part of the show, gripping story, great acting, fantastic practical effects, 10/10 all around, those three made that whole show one of DC's very best live action shows, if not the best at the time.

Of course then we had Larry, Muh Gay and god was he fucking annoying. And the terrible, terrible acting of Jane who somehow made multiple personalities feel samey and equally flat. Those two dragged that show back hard. Things slightly improved for Jane as the seasons went on and she got better at it, but Larry just fucking stuck in the same cycle of the same problem and I just came to hate any moment he was onscreen. Then it all shit the bed so utterly by the end I never wanted to rewatch it. That fucking insane asylum season, damn, just fucking gutted.

She absolutely did not in the first season, there was exactly one scene where she had a different personality in it with the teleporting one and that lasted 3 seconds and amounted to "Smile awkwardly", one of them was supposed to be the "Tough girl" and she was indistinguishable from every other variation.

She may have gotten a lot better by the time we got in her head but first season she did not have any mode but "Snarky angry".

The later seasons sucked in general so it's not surprising. Still can't believe they full on just fucking brushed past Candlemaker's whole confrontation they build up over an entire episode. Early season Cyborg was fantastic because he avoided the race thing and focused entirely on the much, much more interesting body horror aspect of his tech stuff.
