>>155589842NTA but I'm doing great on Vyvanse.I held down a nice though entry level corporate job unmedicated, but it was entirely dependent on psychotically documenting every encounter and every planned action as a calendar reminder, and moving those every day they aren't done. It came up a head when I had my second kid, and keeping track of everything suddenly became more important. It was night and day, from I think day 1 of Vyvanse. I hadn't medicated since I was 14 ish and back then it wasn't really my choice. I was on some harsher stuff and hated what it did to me. Here, I just suddenly had an actual working memory. I wasn't squinting to focus and trying to pull information through a mass of noise. I didn't realise how trash I'd had it until I was better, but it's best summed up as like having tinnitus of the ears, eyes and nose all at once. Just constant loud distraction from anything and nothing. I got through uni and into corpo with it, but boy, life improved and my stress lowered massively with it quietened. That said it won't work for everyone and any time I hear of someone, even friends, diagnosed with it and getting no result from meds at all, I think>So, how many meds are you going to try before you accept you don't have ADHDHad a friend who insisted everything was autism but not in the funny way. Got a favourite spoon? Autism. It's my favourite spoon because it got a more rounded tip, it's better for cereal. I got promoted recently, don't think I could do this job without psychotic levels of stress without the meds.
