Kinda underwhelming for a finale, beyond the presumably lasting consequences of a waning presidency it felt like a mid season ep. Curtis desperately safeguarding his masculinity is his one single joke. O'Doyle was uncharacteristic here, Keeping Curtis safe was his whole deal. maybe if they referenced the broken leprechaun covenant I'd understand his more bro-like attitude. Banks can do no wrong I guess which is getting stale. And the biggest sin of all, not a single stereotypical Minnesotan accent, You Betcha, or Ope was uttered.

There's no way they're this confident in a show that only exists to fill space after R&M because Smiling Friends ended. A season finale should be more substantial. The PC characters are fine, but just don't have enough to them. If it were me I would have called it a miniseries and if it built enough of an audience greenlit another season.

The action sequences are fun, but President Curtis still lacks a lot of the colorful, elevated flair we've come to expect from Rick and Morty, even if that's by design. Yeah that finale was lame as fuck, even as a mid season finale, but you know that dicknose Harmon and his cronies know they already have more plus season 2, so they don't have to put in a lot of effort. Still some lingering villains in the mom, the tech bro, and so on. Funny how Curtis is nearly the lamest character in his own show. Banks is sweet and cute, especially when talks about suckin' dick and eatin' ass and other swears. Even if she does have the body of a water heater. You'd think her uninhibited self would make another appearance in the future.
She has a very small amount on other sites, like one or two, but the fact that Rho Banks has ZERO pics on paheal is absolutely insane. Especially considering the show has been on for 10 weeks and completed its first run.
