Why don't we do a /co/'s top 100 comics list every year? Not of the year, but what /co/ thinks are the best comics of all time, updated annually. Is it not possible anymore? Are we too far gone?
>>155664483>Is it not possible anymore? Are we too far gone?Yes to bothBut also because not a lot of anons read like they used to so the pool of comics will be small
>>155664483We don't read comics son
>>155664483God mother son damn fucking of a bitch?
I think you will find that avid comic readers are a minority on this board.

>>155664483The issue with making a top is that you get tourist like this >>155664657
>>155664483To even think about making a top 100 list, you'd have to have read 200 comics minimum.
>>155664483The American comic industry is way too small for that. We could do top 10, possibly. That's one of the reasons when people talk about "splitting comics and cartoons into separate boards" it's always stupid, because the cartoon board would just be slower and the comic board would be basically dead. God help you if the mediums ever cross over.
>>155664483If someone wanted to organize it then it could happen but it would be extremely tricky. Just figuring out how to delineate superhero runs would make my head spin. Honestly a lot of nonsuperhero comics have the same problem. Then arguments about what should count in the first place as if a meaningful list could exclude the output of any country or different style of comic. I'd say it would be worth trying to do top 100 single issues but I bet that would end up being annoying as well.
>>155665510A dead board is perfect for comics. Reading shit takes time.
>>155665533No board has ever benefited from being slower
>>155666028Comics would.
>>155666028At how many spam threads and low effort threads /co/ has, slower might be a bit better compared to the damn light speed that new threads pop on here. But I'm not making the argument to split comics and cartoons/animation, since I too, think there's just so little to draw from.
>>155665533>Listen to an audiobook version>Nullify the one "benefit" of a dead board.
>>155664692No vampire Knight? Weak list.
>>155667452>Listen to an audiobook versionThat's for fags and women. They tend to ruin boards regardless.
>>155667475It's shit. Sonic the Hedgehog and Heathcliff are better.
>>155665470Tourists wouldn't have read or heard of 90% of the comics of that list, and that's being charitable
>>155664483It would require people to actually read comics instead of bitching about them
>>155664483It would just be the regular top 100 except with more retarded choices like more Bendis. /co/ loves Bendis.
>>155668436Hell, I don't even think the vast majority of /co/ has ever read at least 1/4th of that list
>>155664657>21. NarutoAre comics so bad that a shitty manga that wouldn't make top 200 almost makes top 20 in comics?
