not so... terrible.

Post slime girl butt cheeks

These two genuinely do have good chemistry. It's such a shame they can't be together because Martin and Claire are inseparable for out-of-comic reasons.
>>
Did anyone fuck the math weasel yet?
>>
Why is he charging for coffee? Isn't he there for free?
>>
>>155665083
No the lizard people charge rent.
>>
>>155664606
>This will triple Martin's profit for the day

At the risk of taking a throw away joke line too far let's think about this:
>A quick google search turned up that independent/small coffee shops have profit margins of 5-15%
>Let's assume 10% for the sake of easier math
>With this figure in mind a $4.99 sale just tripled his profit for the day and 10% of $4.99 is $0.499, rounded to $0.50.
>This means he's so far had a profit for the day of $0.25
I mean, I guess he's running a technically profitable business...If this is after all expenses he's dangerously close to being in the red.
>>
>>155664606
Wow a single frame that's not just the same flat indoor background he's reused hundreds of times.
>>
>>155664606
They have so much more chemistry together than Marten/Clare that it really stands out. Jeph has to feel it too. Just pull the trigger already.
The status quo won't change, Marten can still stay in cubetown because Liz already lives there

It's a hobby business being run by the layabout boyfriend of a Cubetown higher up.

I assume she's talking about the particle collider people Emily is meeting and not Emily herself. Not that I blame you for jumping to that conclusion in Questionable Content.

Yeah, we've got:
>Momo waffling over whether or not to fuck Sven
>Russian Bot playing with her tits
>Faye and Bubbles dealing with Ahn
>Ayo being a failgirl at the coffee shop
>Robot Bullshit with Roko and Yay
>Streamer Bullshit with Claire's Mom (but NOT involving Marigold's crew)
>FFCT and Friends doing jack shit nothing

I don't remember this at all

Yay and Clinton trying to be friends

Would this comic be improved by having Claire pimp Marten out to their friends?
>>
>>155668098
Pimp him out to who though? The number of single straight women in QC is pretty small.
>>
>>155665083
He's haggling her down to a BJ under the counter.

>>155668369
The entire cast of robutts is single.

Wouldt this be weird regarding the age gap?
>>
>>155669503
>age gap
Marten's in his early 30s (I think), Liz is in her... Mid? Late? 20s, most normal people wouldn't consider that weird or "problematic"
>>
>>155667849
Zlata switched to big tit body after being drunk in the same room as Marten

Give it time.
>>
>>155669675
Marten is middle 30s and Lit is early 20s more like 19teen.
When he was 25, she was underage.
>>
>>155664606
How come all the other characters keep making up excuses to leave dr loli and martine alone together? It feels like they’re doing it on purpose at this point.

> Marten's in his early 30s

Really? The time skips are pretty vague and hard to keep track of. I thought most of the cast was still in their 20s

Claire suddenly remembers promising Martin 6 BJs a day, but delegates it out to various robots and human sluts around cube town. Martin is randomly stopped by whoever's turn it is to suck him dry regardless of where he is, what he's doing, it who he's taking to.
Imagine some BJ slut showing up while you're at work saying "The librarian told me it's my duty to suck you dry!" Before ripping your pants off and shoving your cock down their throat.
>>
>>155670308
Marten is in his late 20s but not pushing 30, Claire in her mid-20s. Being 19, Liz is probably 8-9 years younger than Marten.
>>
>>155670308
Nah he's still in his 20s. Even with timeskips, time moves slowly. Last decade, Jeph said roughly only six months had passed since the first strip.

It's also a location so useless the new librarian has never been seen in a library and instead has taken on Head of HR and COO duties and no one cares enough to question it. I don't think anyone is questioning business or ensuring they pay tax or meet safety standards or clean their equipment.
>>
>>155669503
Only terminally online retards who get 99% of their social interaction on tiktok get all worked up about age gaps between adults. Which, of course, means Hacques probably won't let it happen.
>>
>>155672820
I think it may fairly come down to a debate on whether 18-23 is even truly an adult at this point. I mean we let you stay on your parents' insurance until you're 25 or something, you can't drink, you can't rent a car, your brain isn't even fully developed yet, etc. Society, and science, in many ways don't really consider 19 an adult. And you are compounding reasons why marriages at that age tend to fail - both the young age of at least one partner, and the increased risk of divorce as age gaps grow in general. So yeah, I'm likely to look a bit cockeyed at a situation like that for a second until I learn a little more about it.
>>
>>155673092
>a debate on whether 18-23 is even truly an adult at this point.
18+ is only considered an adult because that was as low as the federal government could set the age to draft young men for war without upsetting the populace. It was an arbitrary decision and based mostly off when boys/men were done with school and needed to figure out what to do with their lives.
>>
>>155673092
>your brain isn't even fully developed yet
The study everyone quotes about brains stopping development at 25 is a misunderstanding, the study ended at age 25 and the brains hadn't stopped. We don't know if there's a cap.
>>
>>155673401
I had specifically thought I heard about another one that said something more like, regular marijuana use before the age of 23 or so is more likely to affect brain development, but maybe that study also similarly just stopped at that age or whatever.
>>
>>155673092
You could convince me of this, but I would also argue that, if true, these people shouldn't be allowed to vote. There's not some fairy godmother that materializes on your 25th birthday to age you up Sims 2 style. After you get all your adult legal rights, extended childhood is a conscious choice.
>>
>>155673826
I suppose, but it appears to be a broadly taken choice. Maturity and adult-task competency at those ages definitely seems to have dropped off on average over time. This coincides with increases in college enrollment rates, and lifespans. It also happens to be aligning with all kinds of other things happening later in life on average, but some of those may more strongly be argued to be due to economic factors and not maturity rates.
>>
>>155672749
>It's also a location so useless the new librarian has never been seen in a library and instead has taken on Head of HR and COO duties
a full librarian with at least a master's is basically most forms of management in one, just focused on libraries. not limited to public or university libraries either, librarians are part of organizing shit for megacorpos, and typically have very high clearances to do so. this is what claire is there to do: organize shit for a very unorganized place. it's like the one time he has a purpose, other than being a tranny.
>>
>>155673826
18 is a rough benchmark that's equal parts social and biological, and yeah no shit a teenager isn't going to be as physically or mentally mature as a dude in his 40s. Life experience takes time. Also, any class of people that's not able to vote necessarily loses its voice in the democratic process. In a very real way it's important for people to be able to vote as young adults because otherwise there's no need for politicians to respect their preferences.
>>
>>155673092
>>155673218
>50 years age 21 was the age of adulthood
I think you still could marry with 16.
>>
>>155673092
if the government in the states considered a 25yo full grown adulthood then no one but the desperate and psychotic will be joining military service that is already not conscription or draft
>>
>>155674749
The point is you're not a kid by any metric at 18, and as such you're given a lot of rights and the accompanying accountability for them. Accepting that accountability goes a lot farther toward mental maturity than simply living a long time. You can't play like a kid then take exception to being treated like a kid.
>>
>>155669675
>normal people
>QC audience

The Venn diagram of those two are two separate, distinct circles with a metric fuckton of space between them.

They don't even respect their preferences now.

C'mon anon. It's not even /pol/ anymore to point it out. Black goes into someone's space, gets told to leave, and then stabs that person a dozen times "in self defence"? Blacks hold a 13 year old girl down and rape her for half an hour but claim they shouldn't go to jail "because they have their whole future ahead of them"? Woman kills her 3 kids but says she's innocent because of hormones?
>>
>>155674499
Plus, a highly disorganized institution run by a lackadaisical and disinterested administration creating a position to fix their shit while they make no actual operational changes and fail to grasp the job they want performed is actually something that requires multiple positions is accurate to real world institutional dysfunction as well.
>>
>>155674499
Yeah. It took me roughly 20 minutes of discussion with a librarian at a major research institute to realize she knew more about all of the ongoing projects than the department heads did. She had to keep tabs on everything because most of the old-timers would leave standing orders to let them know if anything new was published relevant to their current project, so everyone went to her if they wanted leads on potential collabs before writing their own funding requests.
>>
>>155676047
It's not that there aren't plenty of positive cases, it's the implicit exclusion of white males, of which I am one, and know an awful lot of, to where somehow trying to exclude them from that statement is about one of the most dumbshit things I've read in a while.

>Blacks hold a 13 year old girl down and rape her for half an hour but claim they shouldn't go to jail "because they have their whole future ahead of them"?
this has been a mainstay for colleges going back to before any of us were born. it just succeeds less often, but it's hardly exclusive to blacks.
