The bed's pretty sad, it's missing a desk and a PC, also, a table cloth and maybe a plant on that table. I assume that armchair is facing a tv, but, I dunno, I couldn't live without a proper couch. I have a lot of books and can remember where I got most of them and it makes me think about the bookshops I bought them from or the time I first read them. Even my furniture, since I bought most of that second hand too, makes me think of when I got it and the history it has. I like to be in comfy surroundings. Having nothing around to distinguish my home from anywhere else and make it uniquely mine would just feel bleak and temporary, like I might as well be in a hotel room.
