i've been playing a lot of Marvel Rivals lately and i've been really enjoying playing as Daredevil. i've always liked the guy, but i've never really loved him so i never really read anything with him. i'm planning to change that though, i've been getting more interested in his stories and lore what would you guys recommend? i've already read Man Without Fear and a few of the original comics (up to the Namor fight iirc). i know Born Again is like THE Daredevil story, but i'm not sure if i should read that yet. is there a recommended reading order or something like that for Matt? also general Daredevil thread. what's hornhead up to nowadays?
>what would you guys recommend? #1-300 / It's well collected among Masterworks and Epics. I would have also thrown in MWF but you've already read that.
>>155673295As long as you don’t take the shill bait and ever read Bendis, Soule or Zdarsky you’re good. You can poke around at some of the OG stuff because Wally wood is the man (he only does a few issue) but for all intents and purposes as long as you read some of the Denny O’Neil run and then hop into reading Miller’s in it’s entirety you’re gucci.
>>155673295>what's hornhead up to nowadays?Nothing good in a long time. Waid wasnt great but that was the last time it was readable.
>>155673676This. Zdarsky in particular is fucking horrible, which isnt to say bendis was good.>>155673295 I’d say the nocenti run after miller is worthwhile too, especially with some of JRJR’s best work, and then miller’s Elektra stuff.
It's become a cliche opinion but I agree after DD 300 it goes downhill HARD and really never gets any better to this very day
