Im reading Secret Wars and the big lead-up for Doomsday and i feel like i am going crazy. Why is everyone acting so stupid?>Tony, Reed, and Beast whine about plans they made while doing nothing>Black Bolt an Doctor Strange aren't characters>Namor and Black Panther fight nonstop This lasts for twenty issuesthen they all go and blow up a planet with people on it. Or, Doctor Strange tries to blow up a planet, using evil tentacle monsters, and looks super evil while doing it. But they stop him, for some reason, and then cry about who has to blow up the planet for another issue? And then, when Namor blows up the planet, like they all were going to do, everyone gets pissed at himSo he leaves to go blow up more planetsAnd then the super evil-looking Doctor Strange who actually did try to blow up a planet and would have won if not for the writer wanking Tony also leaves, at the same timeBut everyone is more worried about NamorAnd they keep being worried about NamorEven after they learn that Doctor Strange went on to start a whole super efficient cult dedicated to killing planets and killed WAY more of them than Namor ever didBut none of this matters because it was Doom all along and the he fought the Beyonders so now everything is dead??Am I missing something? I tried to read through Avengers, but it was so boring that I dropped it after eight issues

Once you start looking at the creative teams, it becomes more obvious why some comics suck so badly.Protip: don't bother with Marvel past... 2011, give or take, btw. Even for the 2000s, you gotta ask for recommendations and take them with a grain of salt.
