There are plenty of indie shows that get good views and have fans despite infrequent uploads. Even being a typical “6-11 year old” demographic isn’t the show’s problem.The problem is that it’s uninteresting. The characters are underdeveloped, the designs are uninteresting, the world they live in isn’t very well defined or given any intrigue…it’s just bland. Nico himself obviously cares more about getting celebrity guests and flexing his industry connections than he actually gives a fuck about his show. It’s a stepping stone for more clout rather than a passion project.

>>155686438Kids are fine with watching stuff meant for them, the problem is that most shows aimed at them don't actually bother to treat them with respect, but instead choose to talk them down to absurd degrees. You show a kid something like Ed, Edd n Eddy or Billy & Mandy and they'll love it. You put them to watch whatever is on right now and they'll get bored to death by show sanitized they are.
