For some stupid reason I keep on comparing the X-Men (and by extension all mutants in Marvel) as some equivalent to witches/warlocks. Beings with varying levels of powers that come at a cost of sorts It just feels really shallow and reminiscent of that dumb comparison of DC's superheroes to mythological deities
