>casually ruins Chaz's lifeI thought Drew was supposed to be an accountant, how could he keep throwing good money after bad with that ridiculous ear-wash contraption?
>>155693798its called life. gotta take a gamble sometimes whether its with family or friends
>>155693798Stu was behind it all.He invented the Ear Whiz, knowing fully well it was defective, tipped off Drew anonymously, knowing he wouldn't be able to resist investing, especially with someone else's money. He openly resented Chaz after he started changing his lifestyle, so he decided to bring things back to status quo.
>>155693798he's really really gay
>>155694051>cares for nothing but his daughteris that a gay trait now?
Funny enough, it's basically a real thing. Drew was ahead of his time.Although it's basically junk science as the ears clean themselves naturally and earwax is supposed to be there to prevent stuff from getting in.Anyway, much like how the Pickles could afford their big house, let's break this down:Chaz won $10 million (about $22 million in today's money.) He bought a large mansion, smoking jacket, new frames, butler service, limo service, tons of toys for his 2 year old kid (including that expensive as fuck Thorg,) the fancy daycare, a middle name, and the glass elephant. He put down an initial investment and then was convinced over the phone to invest even more, apparently not knowing the actual numbers. Drew later reveals he invested "nearly all of it." Let's say the mansion was a million and all that other stuff was another million. Likely not even that much, as this was the '90s in Arizona. And they were only rich for, oh, probably a week or two. This would mean Drew invested about $8 million or even close to $9 million on what was essentially a water gun. To be fair, if it worked and every home bought one like a Waterpik, they'd surely make a lot more money.
if I was chaz I would have killed drew the second the words "I lost your millions" came out of his mouth
>>155693798It is clear that Stu funds his inventions with his own money, so he reviews all potential shortcomings before making investments; in Drew case, Charlotte is the breadwinner of them both, in short it never his own money so he don't care.

>>155694007Grok, is this real?
>>155694200>as this was the '90s in ArizonaDoes it snow in Arizona? I thought the show was supposed to be set in vague Northern California.
>>155694200Earwax is annoying
>>155697079The design of the house made it seem more Southwest, but now that I think about it, there were several references to California, such as Didi's high school. And their proximity to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas could've easily been Cali instead. That being said, it didn't take all that long for Stu and the rest to get there, and there wasn't really any mention he was in prime Beverly Hill/Los Angeles real estate. This is a fairly large property with an enormous pool and tennis court and lots of land leading up to it. So probably more like $2-3 million at least. Even if it was $5 million, he didn't buy it outright, considering he lost it. He also didn't own most of the things he bought, or sold them to get the old house back and patch the roof. Plus, he did keep the elephant. >>155697104It can be, and I'm definitely guilty of buying those ear picks on amazon for the fidget satisfaction of removing it. Now that I think about it, boogers are annoying too, but nobody's really come up with a device for those (and I mean an actual device, not like a tissue.)
