Would Loonatics have succeeded if it was the regular Looney Tunes characters dressing up in the outfits and playing superheroes instead of making new characters influenced by them?
>>155696823Why would it
Never cared for this show but the hate was so performative. It wasn't dark and edgy or even serious.
>>155697985This. It could've benefit from being a little more like Duck Dodgers tho
>>155696823Where do you think the Looney Tunes franchise would be if this was actually successful?
>>155698566We would just see the characters in more cameos.
>>155697960Why WOULDN'T it?
>>155696823Maybe there would have been less resentment/mockery of it.Tiny Toons had the original characters in the show as mentors to the new ones, so there wasn't any feeling that Buster, Babs, Plucky etc. were replacing the originals. It was the exact opposite, Bugs, Daffy etc. were the originals that the new characters were trying to live up to.I admit I don't know Loonatics well enough to know if the existence of the original characters was acknowledged, but it seemed from a marketing point of view like they weren't.
>>155696823No. The only problem with the show was the network it was on. Had it been on CN it would've done fine.
>>155700150They were labeled as the 700-800 years or so in the future descendants of the core cast Which means all the characters fucked
