Bengus is cool but. a lot of his art is kinda wonky if you really look at it. His coloring helps a lot.

first of all, he looks like a knight in armor with a few embellishments, hardly like a robot. secondly, a cape AND a tunic. the tunic is very important.
The only way I think you could really improve Doom is if his armor had darker (perhaps gunmetal) pieces for the boots and bracers/gauntlets. Like-a so.
