Unless specifically mentioned or implied via environmental clues (they have a bathroom), cartoon characters do not use the bathroom. This also applies to cartoon parents having sex to produce their children (or any time after). The same principle is used for birthdays and the passing of time. Cartoon characters don't age unless they make a note of their age progressing. The same character can have several Christmas episodes/arcs and not be any older (or rather, be the same age) despite Christmas only coming once a year.
