He can have the whole process be fully automated or take an apprentice to do that for him and it would be a more efficient use of his time and energy instead of flying out geared up in a war suit to go fight things personally. Batman has to clean up Gotham himself because if he doesn't do it no one else will; Tony can sit back and have someone else pilot the suit and nothing fundamentally would change.
