>>155793395>>155793397Some suggestions were lesser known stories like Ego, Monster Men, Elmer Fudd and Red Rain. Wouldn't be opposed to classics like Year One or TDKR either.

nice, thanks OP. this was the very first superhero comic I ever read, and it's still the best one.

This was the turning point for Batman crime comics because of new regulations. No more Italian mafia gangsters, no more Japanese Yakuza assassins, no more KGB Russian spies.Only the freaks and the mentally insane walk the night streets in Gotham.
>>155793916>>155793926Glad you’re enjoying it. It was one of the earliest superhero comics I read after JLA and Silver Age Spider-Man.

>>155793976I really need to get some lecture about american comic book history. I mean I only got some idea of Eras in general including silliness of Silver Era. But as an euro can't put a finger on how each decade of history affected comics.>>155793221I must be plebeian. Some pages alone? It's a great piece of art. I don't mind the one with exaggerated Joker's teeth. But holy fuck if those are distracting to read them like normal comic book.
>>155794160>exaggerated Joker's teethBecause it's abstract and detached from reality much like comics usually are.
